I bought it in Kindle version from Amazon. Reading now...

I haven't watched the cut version, but I have to wonder what they have left out because the cut version is 45:29 minutes and the uncut version is 1 hour and 11 minutes.

Nah, people here seem to like it, but I can't get through the first episode. Way too childish and illogical for me.

I think the father's 'concern' is that if Tan is out from under his control, he could do something to hurt his political ambitions. He does not understand his son's character at all.

Actually this serenade made me laugh because the lyrics were so ridiculous, and did not reflect them at all.

Ep 7's scriptwriting in the first 12 minutes is so bad, I think I will have to come back to this later... I'll just duck over to Laws of Attraction instead...

Plus as an older woman, at least I don't feel like a creep if I like watching the older actors in adult dramas - current favs are Film and Jam. I will still watch the occasional high school/college drama, but I don't get all fluttery over 18 year olds! as in MSP.

This show is SO good. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it. I was surprised that Kang San didn't go back to 1995, especially after he found the rock, but it does make more sense for him to stay in the present. The police interview techniques needed some work - I'm sure real police don't keep telling the suspects what they (the police) want to hear, that the words and confessions have to come from the suspects. But on a side note - I absolutely love that 3 sided container house. It was beautiful, and a bedroom lined with book shelves - heaven. I'm glad they ended up living there.

I think with Sailom, it is a case of a good man (boy) being pushed one step too far. He already knew what Kang & co were like. He had warned his friends to stay away from them, and when Auto got caught up because he needed the money he didn't know at first. As a poor kid he knows the value of money, he knows how much Auto spent on that ticket and how much it meant to him. Seeing the bullies mistreat his friend and burn the ticket as if it was nothing must have hit hard. To them is was nothing. Also Kang trying to get him fired from his job, when he desperately needs the money. Will it be explained why Sailom and his brother are paying off a large debt? Did their parents die & leave them with it? Why is he willing to confront Kang? Literature is full of stories of good men who have been pushed too far.

I don't know what was more disgusting - the actual bullying, or the classmates urging it on with their cellphones out to record the humiliation. And in any sort of reality, forcing someone to strip off, or to kiss, is sexual assault. If that many people recorded it, it would be tough for the father to cover it up for the sake of his political ambitions.

I am ignoring that rating.
