I am so excited for this. I love the Japanese original and I have rewatched it. The only part I skipped over the second time, and I hope the Thai production does it better, are the scenes with Adachi's friend Tsuge - he was unbelievably annoying and cringy. This trailer looks fantastic, and in fact I am currently rewatching Dark Blue Kiss because I hadn't seen TayNew on screen for so long.

I really disliked Ben in this, and I was surprised in some of the bts at his truer character. He was cute and likeable and had more chemistry with Man than in the scripted show!

I still haven't watched ep 10, especially now that it has been pushed out to 14 episodes. Life is too short for this crap!

Regards the managers, is Thailand running out of middle aged actresses and that is why they have an actor who identifies as a man, playing a woman? If they are doing it for laughs, then it misses the mark.

I didn't watch the original so I can watch this movie as it's own thing. I'm watching on Youtube and I'm not too sure about some of the subtitles. I notice Prince's character is listed here as Tued. On Youtube his name is TURD! I hope it has a happy ending. I was going to watch Egoist today until I found out that one of the ML dies. They have to stop doing that. It's like going back to the old days of BL movies where one dies - as if they are sending the message that if you are gay you don't get a happy ending. I don't mind some angst, but overall I like the fluff. The world can provide enough drama on its own, so I like my entertainment to...entertain.

How has this show got a 9.6 on iQiYi? And La Pluie has got 9.8! Is their algorithm drunk?

I'm 15 minutes into ep 3 and I don't know whether to continue or not. When did Kram go from ambitious snake-in-the-grass to full batshit crazy? Did we miss an episode??? I cannot stand this kind of emotional blackmail from both Kram & Mek to get their own ways with Rak. I know they can't be too graphic in a drama, but those cuts are strictly attention seeking, not self harm with intent. I might sound harsh but I used to have a partner who threatened to hurt himself every time he didn't get what he wanted. The only way was to call his bluff and leave, and yes he was fine.

I know they are trying for inclusivity and this is a BL, but does every show now have to have the over the top femme boy and the over the top trans character. I'm sure in real life Thailand these characters are not every where you turn. I am not anti-trans, but these characters seemed shoehorned into the story for the sake of 'representation' and not to help the flow of the story.

They need to give Pepper a role in an adult series. He looks too old to be a uni student in this, and there is no way he looked the same age as Payu in Love In The Air, let alone supposed to be the younger 'twin'

Reading the comments here, a lot of people think this is just average, but I didn't mind the first episode. Plus I could watch Joong all day! But honestly, a fluffy story might be the palate cleanser we all need after horrors like Step By Step, The Luminous Solution, and Loneliness Society. Even La Pluie has been a disappointment to date.

They obviously don't want to upset the censors. Notice in ep 4 at 19:18 they call Taiwan "Taiwan province , China", unless it's strictly a translation issue.

Is it just me, or does the actor playing Su Yu's boyhood friend (the one with the crush on the Taiwanese girl), look like a young Xiao Zhan in some shots? After 4 episodes, I am really liking this show - except for the endlessly crying kid - totally not needed.

I think he means not to tell about him being a kid living in an apartment on his own with no family support. Su Yu has got a fair idea that he is well off.

Do you know if the books are available with an English translation? I would like to read this one.
