(i think its more than 100% valid to say that Pio's mother is behind that whole case with Jeongyos disappearance)
Kayy, just my personal theory, but what if Pio doesn't wanna play with Jeongyo because he got trauma from Jeongyo's sudden disappearance for 10 years and now playing on piano became hard for him, because he lost the only spark that made him want to play "for fun" instead of playing just for contests? This could be just like the case of Jeongyo, who stopped playing by the time his mother died in front of him during one of the contests he took part in.
Also - Jeongyo is stubborn about playing exactly with Pio, not anyone else, because he realized, (back in the practice room in school, where Jeongyo asked Pio to play a piano piece that they practiced in this room lots of years ago, but he refused on doing that) that something's wrong with Pio when it comes to playing on piano, even thought it was Pio, who encouraged Jeongyo into playing on a big scene in front of thousands of people back in the days.
Jeongyo then, might therefore want to turn sides around, and now encourage Pio into overcoming his fears and trauma, just doesnt want to make it that obvious that he cares (just like Pio did back then).

i think he might remember or know who planned the abduction of his and maybe he wants to take revenge on that person. This'd explain why jeongyo gazed at Pio's mother with such a mix of confusion and interest when she showed up during his meeting with jaein, pio and mr kang at the end of ep7. That might be because Pio's mother most likely was in fact the one to order these people to kidnap jeongyo? Thats just my theory tho!!
