I believe the killer is a student, a classmate of LSA. It was the last scene from episode 13, that made me think this... It was the way LSA was expressing her classmates coming to visit her, she expressed how her room teacher brought the whole class and how it was noisy. So she couldn't possible see/guess who brought the matchbox. If it was a villager I doubt they came together as group but separate.
And if it was a student I think it makes more scene with the matchboxes. We learned very early on that the matchboxes were used as trend to ask someone out, or tell someone how you feel. With so many student doing the trend its harder for the murderer to get caught. Another thing is GMS knows the murderer, and though I believe she pretty much knows everyone in town, I think it would make more sense for it to be classmate of hers.
many people from the village visited Soon-ae, not just her classmates
Yes, but it was the way LSA was expressing her classmates coming, that makes me believe it's a student. She expressed on her room teacher brining the whole class, so she couldn't possible guess who brought the matchbox. But if it were the village, they probably didn't come in a group, but separate.
Another thing is the student was following the trend like everyone else by using the matchboxes, not by asking out but leaving it behind as a warning (to possible not get caught?). Another thing is GMS knows the murderer, and though I believe she pretty much knows everyone in town, I think it would make more sense for it to be classmate of hers.
By the end of every episode I question everything that I thought I figured out... Still have no clue who could…
Im pretty sure the treehouse lady is his mom, but I think she's leaving early then she is suppose to. Because if ML and FL didn't go back in time, the ML father wouldn't be using his time to fix his car - so he is spending less time on the car than his girlfriend, which made her leaving sooner then expected.
So the last scene from ep 13 points out that the killer is a high school student. It makes me wonder if there was a guest role with a line that we didn't pay attention to in the beginning.
Is there any romance development for main leads...?
The romance is subtle but there, like Ivy said. I think the romance between the two leads has began to change after the 10th episode. Its a slow-burn romance but so far it's really well done.
