I definitely do agree I love this show. It's probably one of my comfort shows but probably a show. I wouldn't…
Director Scandal and Fallout: The director, Guo Jingming (also known as Edward Guo), has been stripped of his credit by the streaming platform iQIYI following past controversies. Rumors suggest a falling out between him and the lead actors, Yu Shuxin (Esther Yu) and Zhang Linghe, who allegedly refuse to work with him again.
Cast Availability and Discontent: Reports indicate that the main leads are not in communication with the director. Additionally, rumors circulated that the leads were upset because the show’s marketing and script gave excessive spotlight to the second leads (Cheng Lei and Lu Yu Xiao), potentially souring their willingness to return.
Lack of Investor Confidence: Due to the director’s tarnished reputation and the resulting delays, securing investors for a second season became difficult. The original plan to shoot two seasons simultaneously reportedly fell through, leaving the first season with an open ending that was widely criticized by fans.
I don't wanna steer you wrong, but here's what I found on Google on the main reason why there's not gonna be another season you can read over this. Sorry if it's long. I just don't want him to miss out any facts. It's sad that you know it had to come to this, but to be honest it happens a lot.

I think mainly what happened was one the director wasn't treating one of the cast right and basically being disrespectful to one of the characters and I guess they got into a argument or whatever I don't really know I mean all this stuff we really don't know since it's behind the scenes and we don't really know but that's what I heard. It could be more reasons why there's not gonna be another season but that's the main one and that happens a lot in shows, especially when the director or one of the employees don't get along and unfortunately, they can't do another part, but don't take my word for it. That's what I heard online.

Hey, I'm so sorry for the late reply so basically I heard that the director in one of the like ml or gl. I don't remember basically they got a dispute about one of their lines or the character and basically that and the director wasn't treating them fairly and some other things happen behind the scenes. that's mainly why they're not working with them and something along the lines where the character said that I no longer want to work with that director.
I love this show. I remember the first time I watched it. I wish I could go back and rewatch it, but it won't be the same. I love everything about it. The fight scene the romance, and just everything. The only thing I wish that there was more fight scenes. I feel like it was mainly talking for most of it, but I wish it was just a little bit more of it , but that's really it. I think it should be a crime to have cliffhanger because of the way how you feel in the way how you interpreted it to be honest I love that we can have it to our own imagination or what could happen what might happen if I had to rate this show I would give it a nine out of 10 I'm deducting some points because of the ending but other than that it's really good. I wish there were more C dramas like this and if anybody has any more recommendations that are similar to this, please let me know and if you do watch this, have a good time watching it and if you already watched it, let me know your thoughts below. ;)
I dared to watch it on the recommendation of my friends, I braced myself for therapy... but it was completely…
I definitely do agree I love this show. It's probably one of my comfort shows but probably a show. I wouldn't watch again just because of the ending. It's bittersweet that they had to end it off like that and I wish that it can have another season but you know what things going on and I guess the director in the actress not getting on the right foot we won't get another season but like I said it's worth watching, but it's not worth the pain after it. The only thing I didn't like about it is the guy and the girl I forget her name the one that was that was always silly and liked the other guy, but unfortunately, he passed away and they didn't share each other's feelings. I wish they would've done it earlier but anyway that's besides the point really loved it made me cry once when I watched it. I even rewatch it a while ago and it was really good.
I've heard that the ending isn't good...so is this really worth watching??
If I'm gonna be honest, it's not worth watching just to figure out that we're not getting another season now if I were to find out later on when I was watching it that it wasn't gonna come out with another season and there's no possibility that I would, I would have dropped it immediately. It's a good show. I loved it. I love the fight scenes. I love the romance basically everything about it, but the ending drives me crazy and it really made me sad after it. I almost cried because it was so good, but if you're good with having an opening ending in a cliffhanger and no happy or good ending this is a show for you but personally, it's not worth it.
this is worth watching. even if it has a open ending i think this drama is very well portrayed. the main actors…
So will there ever be a season two or no I heard probably not because I guess the director in the actor got on the wrong foot and they basically said they don't wanna work with the director anymore know please let me know because I really don't know. I'm hearing two different answers. My guess is probably not because it's already 2026 and this show aired a couple years ago. and then I heard there's a possibly chance that they might come back, but it'll be different actors.
