About Shin Min Ah, actually I watched this drama because of her and LBH, but she disappointed me. Idk it’s because of the way the screenwriter wants her character to be like that, or because of her plain acting, either of them makes me feel uncomfortable every time Seon Ah appeared (although I really loved her at the beginning).
As expected, I cried like dying and also laughed watching the last episode, I must say ep 20 is the best of the best as it clearly shows how great Lee Byung Hun is, being an actor. The way he cried reminds me of myself, I just love his character so much since he resembles me in real life. I’m a bad-tempered person and I also upset my mom several times. I hate saying sorry, I hate how she never apologized to me. As a child, I would do bad things to disappoint her, ya know, like a revenge. She’s pretty old now but I’m lucky enough to realize that and now I’m trying my best to give my mom the right to be proud of her kid. I think that’s why I cried continually during this episode, imagine one day she’ll leave me just like that, how can I live without her.... And yup, the last meal dongseok’s mother cooked, I think the time when my mom actually leaves me, when I come home, there would be food that she will have prepared for me there, I just love that detail so much. I thought her life ended that night but because he told her that he wanted to eat her food, she woke up the last time and passed away afterwards.
Hah, I watched the whole ep 19 and didn’t shed a single tear, but I cried watching the preview for ep 20 lol. I somehow can understand dongseok’s feelings toward his mom...
I feel like the story hasn’t been unfolded completely. The final episode was like an incomplete puzzle, I mean, the kind of open ending isn’t really new in kdrama, however, this ending was so weird, it felt like there would be another episode next week lol. The screenwriter is the one who wrote My Mister so I was hoping she could write an ending that ‘fits’ this masterpiece, SE or HE is all right, but OE, in such a strange way.... I’m sorry I cannot feel satisfied with it.
I’ve just looked at the information and found out that the drama has 20 episodes, the film is good but tbh 20 eps for a slow-pace drama like this are quite hard to keep up with.
Well the drama has a really different plot and definitely good potential to develop more. But I think 12 eps is quite ok, a little shorter to make people think a little bit longer
Just have to wow at this. Honestly at first I wasn’t really ready to watch it since many people said this drama was kind of heavy and also because I don’t really like Shin Se Kyung due to her acting in an old drama. But now honestly I have to admit Shin Se Kyung’s character is just outstanding. At first I told myself ‘nah, just another weak girl who does nothing but causes problems to everyone else’, but she slapped me in my face, I was totally wrong. Her character has a vital role throughout the film. Her acting is on point and there is nothing to complain. All the characters have great development, and when you finish this drama you will feel like witnessing your kids growing up lol... Anyway, I always wonder why Jang Hyuk keeps breaking my heart in every drama T_T
Well, to me, this drama is just, yeh, acceptable at some points. Neither perfect nor too bad to watch. I just love Siho character so much, love how she shouted at the detective, telling him that he had to save all three person lol
Honestly I skipped most parts of the drama because the political elements got so draggy, even so, I still understand what is going on in the main plot. I think this drama could be somehow shorter, about 18-20 episodes or even 16. On the other hand, I am not satisfied with the ending, not because of Dae Gil's death, but maybe because the FML seems to have overcomed the pain so easily? From the very beginning, she was always thinking about a "dead person" who she used to fall in love with, and after their reunite, she was wavering between two men whom she loved. However, she had not done anything for Dae Gil, all she did is just asking him a few questions, crying, and caring for her husband in front of Dae Gil. I'm not asking the screenwriter to let her break up with her husband or anything like that, I just want her to suffer more. Even in the last moment with Dae Gil, all she did is just making an apology for abandoning him again, and that's it. She knew about the fact that Dae Gil had spent over ten years desperately finding her to finally realize she got married. This is just so cruel to Dae Gil....
