Plus from what I've seen of this drama Li SuSu (LXW) she's the type to give TTJ her blessing, and won't feel jealousy probably in the novel she was different. These two need to be locked up in an upscale air conditioned/heater dungeon with open bar so they can sort out their issues and get to the smooching.
So Li SuSu is all for not having love in her life as she told her dad, and TTJ is told to forgo romance, find his inner strength, calmness which is working I guess cuz of his patience/compassion for the old mother in the hut. It shows growth for his character and imo feels like foreshadowing for a tragic, martyr, sad ending. So disappointing😥😥😥Can't stand the "cult" TTJ is living with changing him so much.
