I agree the original was way better. I loved the ML in the Taiwanese one as well as the FL. Much grittier and was more coherent than the Korean one.

I understand the ending. The FL was totally ostracized after her father died and ruined and her husband and his family didn't want to have anything to do with her. It shows her ex husband and his sister looking at a revealing video and have lost their battle to be with whom they supposedly obsessed over. It is a total turn around of them in the end being the ones at their lowest point. I doubt whether there will be a second season. It was really a happy ending.

Beautiful Gong Shim is such a great drama which is romantic.

The pity of it is that the vendetta mom didn't know that her son was the father of the girl she was going after. Revenge as its worse. I did love the drama for its sharp attack of stressing too much physical beauty in a society.

Loved him in Love Affairs in the Afternoon as well as others I have seen with him.

I don't think I have ever seen such effective war scenes as in this drama as far as what the average citizen had to endure.
