Not really, I watch so many genres, and usually when I watch a highly rated drama I get why it's that high... My bad though, before starting this one I forgot to check Douban, I just did and this drama got 6.5
If the series does not grap your attention in the first part, it won't later. Veil of shadows looks full of action…

Right now, things are extremely slow. I thought the pace would pick up once the focus shifted more to the war/mystery side, but if thatās not the case, then thatās really disappointing :(
Joy of Life is a masterpiece ā a true gem. Just donāt be misled by the āromanceā tag; itās minimal. This is primarily a mystery wuxia. The best ever produced š
Iām struggling with this ā I keep falling asleep during the episodes and have to go back to rewatch what I missed. Iāve barely made it to episode 13. Does it get better in the second half, or what? I was expecting more mystery and war, but so far itās pretty minimal.
