I enjoyed the general story a lot. Supernatural romance is just my style and this was a good one. I had some problems here and there tho. Sometimes the story was super slow, sometimes they barely had any conversation and I wanted to skip, sometimes makeup or effects were too fake. Overall I liked it but I must stay it is still a bit overrated.

Its my first time watching all 4 leads. I fell in love with Keng and Firstone immediately. They are both amazing actors and super charming. Namping was a bit robotic for me and Tle was just behind all other actors so Im not head over heels for either of them.

I should say this series had some of the best NG scenes out there. They were erotic but not pornographic, romantic but still sexy. Perfectly balanced, crafted like a piece of art. I know NG scenes are a big deal in bl world and somehow people seem to like very naughty and over the line NG scenes but I dont like that kind of stuff. Those feel like they are baits for the bl fans. These ones were not like that.

One criticism, might be a spoiler be careful for this sentence, it was the stupidest thing watching them run away from the evil spirits with a race car...

Omg these are just TV series, full fiction. Nothing serious. Chill... Nobody would love a serial killer for real lol.
And on this spesific case, I didnt say pheem is pure goodhearted soft bubbly plush bear, I just said he has problems that make him a victim as well, not someone to hate blindly. Plus, if your argument is about supporting idols, every kind of fan can do it(dont make me start on freaky fans of kpop idols ), you dont need to underline as 'bl fans'.

Whoever hates Pheem, just think about what he's been through, his past and what was his motivation, his only goal growing up. .. Its not easy to change your point of view, the aim of your life just in a couple of days. Just look at the story from his window. He is also a victim. He is broken and twisted. He needs someone to heal him. I just hope they can make time to heal eachother before everything is completely ruined.

Well, you might be right. But when she time travels, I expect more of an unconservative relationship. This was not a complete sageuk after all.
Plus as I said before Moon Lovers is my fav drama. They had such a passionate relationship even when they werent touchy touchy in the first phase of their relationship. I think that is a good example of what I expect. When I say passion and chemistry, I dont just mean skinship.

I think this was a knock off of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Inspired by it, badly remade. In theory this series had everything I love: fiction, time travel, romance, great lead actors, a touch of comedy etc. But something was missing. I dont know exactly what but just like in the series, this was like a potentially perfect meal but needed seasoning. I think it was lack of romance. Especially when I compare it with Moon Lovers (which is my ultimate fav korean drama) there was no passion, chemistry and a legendary love story. I know it is the whole theme but also I can say there were so much food scenes, it was almost like a food show. Food related scenes were more than half of every episode which gets a bit boring by time (I skipped a lot of them). I love the finale but I didnt like the fact that even they couldnt explain how he travelled the time, they were like 'its not impportant he just came'. Believe it or not, even fiction need some logical chain in it.

Anyways, good ingredients, mediocre final product.

I've had extreme expectations for this one. Basically because Im a big fan of Kim Woo Bin, also my fav genre is fantastic comedy. I must say I enjoyed it a lot but still it was a bit under my expectations. Fiction side was really good. I loved how they portraid angels, genies, all the interaction etc. Romance vise it was definitely mediocre. I wanted to see a much bigger love, sparkling chemistry (especially when you think this is their second drama together) and skinship.

I loved time travel scenes, fiction fight scenes, side characters and overall the whole story.
There were some parts that I found very silly such as genie getting beat up by the girl all the time. What was that? Also Ki Ga Yeong, being a psychopath was such a big part of the drama but I think that element actually didnt feed the story at all. It wasnt anything special, it wasnt needed for a more interesting story, didnt change or effected anything. So I didnt understand what was that for. But again, I enjoyed it generally.

Also I must say as an open minded and logical Muslim who actually can think and use her brain, I wasnt offended by religious elements at all. This is a freaking TV SHOW!!! Even the storyline is 100% fiction. What the hell triggered people this much I really dont understand??? There are much more offensive movies out there, they are not even fiction.If those people are so sensitive Im sure they cant watch a single American production. This series was full of fantastic stuff, they didnt insult our religion at all. Plus religion is something one should live inside their heart. If people are getting affected by random tv shows so easily, they should check their own belief system first. Relax!!!! Just enjoy...

Everybody in this series is either a psycho or has serious psychological problems. I didnt like anybody! Including Da On and Seong Hyeon. Everybody were very disturbing for me.
But!!!!
There is one thing that I loev and must praise: actors!! Omg such talented people, such amazing acting. Everybody were amazing! Both 4 leads and side characters. There were also very famous faces here and there. Acting made this series way better than it is. BRAVO!!

Oh maybe that could be the problem... I was very disturbed by the storyline so maybe I couldnt see that. Maybe the voiceovers and other things made them look bad..

Maybe... I might end up liking it if not loving.. I just have to give the chance.

This is honestly my problem. I've never ever dropped a series, book or a movie in my life. Even if I end up rating 1/10 I still keep watching... I have to see the end of this...
Plus, when something is super popular, everybody likes and talks about it, I really get curious and try to understand why it is loved so much.

So far acting is super bad, the whole show is boring. Hua Yong is an abuser!! He is horribly abusing Sheng Shao You emotionally. Emotional abusers are actually more scary thna physical abusers.
So, am I really gonna end up enjoying the series and liking Hua Yong??? I'll keep watching and update my review here.

Ok now that Im done, I think this was not okay overall. So much abusing, non consent relations, final episode was one of the worst finales ever. Didnt like at all!. We agree that Hua Yong is sick right? He has serious psychologic problems.
This was my first omegaverse and I had no problems with that world's elements. So I will give a chance to another omegaverse for sure. But Abo Desire is just not my cup of tea.

First of all I didnt say fans are mostly teenagers. I said hardcore fans are mostly teenagers. I never meant everybody in any of my comments. I saw serious amount of agressive comments both here and on other social medias.
Second of all, I honestly enjoyed this series, I just said after how much I've been hearing about this, I found it overrated.
I also mentioned about the uniqueness so I agree with you on that.
Again, yes, people can share their opinon but lets remember that they also can share when they have negative opinions. My words were just for those who bash negative commenters and call them hater/anti for no reason.

My comment was not for the regular mindful fans who are kind and normal and just talk about how much they freaking love this show or even explain why others shpuld love too and try to convince them. My thoughts were on hardcore fans who try to bully people who dont like the series. Call 'anti' or 'hater' everybody. Hardcore, lost control kind of ones. Ofcourse everybody can comment/reply whatever they want, fan or not. We just should hold on to our ethics.

When everybody talks about something, I watch it asap! But this time I was travelling, busy, didnt have wifi etc. so had to watch it months later.. Through these months, I saw how everybody loved this, praised this and even missed those characters. So obviously I was super curious and had high, oh no, extremely high expectations. But now, unfotunatelly I found it overrarted.
Dont misunderstand me, my rate is still pretty high. But like, this show is what all bl town talks about so I expected something mind blowing.
I like the story, I even enjoyed the old original one. I think the story is good and unique but the production and quality was bad. Especially dubbing was very poorly made.
I freaking loved Chi Cheng!!! I am one of those losers who always fall for the bad guy. But in this case, Chi Cheng was the good guy who had bad guy illusion. He was almost perfect. I say almost, because I really hate romanticising abusive and non-consent behaviors in relationships, that was awful and maybe triggering for many paople.
And Wei Wei... Until the last 2-3 episodes he was super annoying and didnt deserve Chi Cheng's love at all. I mostly didnt like him.
Finale was cute, they could've give us some more sweetness but thats ok.
Overall I enjoyed it a lot but is this worthy of being the most talked and loved bl of the year? Im not sure..

PS. I realized that RL has such hardcore fans(I think they are mostly teenagers) even here in the comments. When someone doesnt like the show and criticize, fans automatically call them 'hater' or 'anti' which is so childish. What do you guys think? Do you think when you or majority likes something everybody also has to? When somebody thinks different than you they are just haters? They cant genuinely think or feel like that? I am shocked by the bashing! Grow up people! You just make your fandom look bad thats all. Not everybody has to enjoy RL. Let people comment whatever they want. We watch these shows to have fun and you turn this into something super serious and stressful. If you are not a part of the production team, please stop!!! LOL

This series has a very cute story line and very good cast. I loved every actor and their characters individually. And I must say I enjoyed a lot that they didnt include any evil character or an unnecessary drama to the scenario.
I know this was the HIT of the year, everybody loved and talked about it. But to be honest, dont you think it was a bit boring? I mean, since I didnt have time before, I watched quite late and I was exposed all the praising and WilliamEst fangirling all around. So I had EXTREME expectations. I liked it but thought it was really overrated. comparing to all that hype.
Also, before watching it I had the chance of observing Est and William in their real life. And I can clearly say that they are 100 times more cute and they have 100 times better chemistry in real. Maybe thats because they didnt have enough workshops before making the series and their relationship got better and closer by time, at the end of the series or even after. But I thought their chemistry was not on top during the episodes. Anyways, I know Thame Po has hardcore fans, almost like Mars fans hahahahha. So I hope I dont get bashed for not loving it lol.

With that finale my rate went down from 7 to 5. Good story, bad quality, bad lipsync, horrible finale.

I really really liked this in general. I loved the storyline and the actors. But since its a VERY short series, everything happened super fast. which made it all weird and unnatural. I wish it had like at least 8 episodes, it'd make an amazing series.
