Hi ! Im doing the eng subs of this movie !! ( Still 15 min to be finished by tomorrow tho -im super excited to announce this lol) The movie is super cute and romantic especially in the second half as we get to understand better Rio's persona, especially. (His lines are sooo cute and romantic.) I almost cried at a particular scene ( Kido x Rio goodbye scene omg). And I feel pain -tryin not to tear up- because of the last moments along with the ED song ...omg The movie is very realistic. Couples would become eager to cherish their relationship after watching it. And lonely people would just recall souvenirs and maybe will get hope... Rio and Haruhiko's love story is far from being cheesy , immature and meaningless. At some point, it portrays well the complicated way of thinking of Japanese middle-aged men. I liked -and sometimes i found it funny- the picture of the strong woman in all the female characters. While in contrast Rio was ''fragile'' and the cutest . That was very interesting. reminds me of the "herbivore men" term. Honestly, i didn't think i would love this movie, as I thought it would be se* + poor acting.. Really, it's the first time i watch a completely mature BL with such deep script and that contains many many lessons of morality (I still can't forget that detail of the mother's "inheritence", and the Sensei's answer). The only bémol, is a quite flagrant hetero se* scene which ...disgusted me. xD

The director took the original idea of "casting curses" to criticize the Japanese society (bullying on SNS. The "die" thing is true IRL btw! ), immoral attitudes (like being completely indifferent toward others in need of help) , and religious nonsense cults which was so sarcastic (i laughed at the Hand of Light organization xD) . I liked the movie overall, especially the music. The manga has a potential to be adapted in a Live-action drama, that would be better. (reminds me of Natsume Yuujinchou)
