watched weekly as it came out
when i first watched this i actually binged the first 4 eps in one day and it started off super strong, loving the progression of the characters and it was overall very exciting and drama inducing to watch. tho this drama can get very physical and bloody, it does bring awareness to the realistic situations that can happen due to bullying and harassment. i wouldn’t say romance is a big genre in this drama but the amazing chemistry between the main leads was too good to miss out on and (spoiler) the no kiss at the end was not as disappointing as i would have hoped but the ending for them was enough?. overall the majority of the cast was really good and the acting was on point all throughout the 12 eps. now onto the plotwists:gi osung was very clearly involved somewhat in one of the incidents (which was kind of obvious for me at least) but for jaebeom to have killed chanmi’s brother was kind of shocking to me! as well as when osung fell from the school room after fighting with soohyeon - totally unexpected. maybe this was just me but the last two eps felt slightly rushed in trying to just wrap up all the chaos and mystery going on and in my opinion it would have been better to unsolve some of those mysteries in eps 10. other than that some tiny unresolved holes were here and there but we obviously can’t expect a 100% perfect show. loved the dynamics and hope the actors have great shows coming soon! music was also a bonus??

lets ignore this review is a week late oops - first, i was surprised to see how short this drama was with only 35 mins each but i happy to know it was 3x a week! from the beginning i knew this was going to be a light drama with beautiful cinematography (plus a good ost). ive never watched a drama starring the main leads but i definitely want to check them out after this one (joy's character is so cute and loveable i love her). the drama is not exactly life changing and has crazy plot twists like many dramas this year but im glad it exists because we need some more light dramas with good visuals and osts this year AND a happy ending! if you loved my liberation notes or my blues or any other drama for the pretty countryside visuals, you should check OUAST - plus it has cute animals! the storyline is pretty simple to follow and not too many characters, so it doesn't feel overwhelming and clique tropes but that didn't bother me. there is a special place in my heart for dramas like this perfect for the summer season or when we just need comfort! Was this review helpful to you?

took me longer than usual to finish (usually finish 16 eps within 3 days) but, i will say that when i started this i had no idea it was about mental health all i knew going into it was that it was two people coliving together, etc. but i was actually very glad that it (mental health) was one of the main topics throughout the show because very few kdramas (that ive seen) portray mental illness as good as i saw it here. i found jang jae yeol’s childhood backstory to be heartbroken and throughout the show i was hoping he could find his peace in the end. i related to him and hae-soo at times because i also struggle with ocd and i RARELY see it getting portrayed. many reviewed with how slow it was and i think the pace wasnt the problem, just how boring some of the other plotlines were. i think this show did a very good job with jae yeol’s relationship and connection to kang-woo, and it was very heartbreaking too?as well as many other relationships dealing with mental health. on the other hand, it was very and awkward and weird how one of the side characters had romantic feelings for a MINOR when this was a grown man (they even said he shouldnt like her)the OST was incredibly nice and fit well with each scene and many of the songs can be used as serotonin boosts. in the end, it was a very nice drama (and the main couple was cute) that really makes you think and see people outside of your own common prospective. — “most people aren’t comfortable accepting people who are different from us. we believe them to be wrong since they are different from us. scary thought isnt it?”

since watching this show weekly from the start i was very curious with the missing sister storyline and why eun gyehoon and dahyun were connected or “linked”. i really liked the beginning even when they “killed” the stalker but later he turned out to be alive. tho, he definitely was dragged out way too much in the plot (always showing up and saying “hinting” about gyehoons sister or the kidnapping but never saying anything). i have to say i loved the main leads but especially eun gyehoon, seeing him broken after feeling like he’s lost his whole family and growing up alone made my heart break :( and the chemistry between the leads was so great, the slowburn, everything. im very happy how this show ended and how they gave a nice closure to even the side characters without much plot. the last ending scene from ep 16 made me cry with how they showed the leads as kids with them now UGH SO SAD. even when they showed gyeyoung telling adult gyehoon that its not his fault and he shouldnt cry and when gyehoon was talking with his dad telling him he shouldnt find her and to just stay with him and his mom made me emotional. there were so many things i learned just from watching this show and it has some of the best relationships ive seen. 8.5/10Was this review helpful to you?
watched 7/22 in one go
i randomly found this super short drama and decided to watch in one go (only about 2 hours long in total). i really loved the chemistry between the main leads and even the side characters i liked, the story is unique itself since ive never really seen another drama do this kind of story and tho it is short i think of it as a movie and feel as the pacing was just right (not draggy, as 16 episodes may have been). the main character is very likable and the drama has many funny moments! and a very nice ost all throughoutWas this review helpful to you?

CUTE!my first school/ slice of life cdrama and i really enjoyed it. chen xiao xi BEST GIRL! it was really cute from the beginning i liked all the dynamics between the characters my favorite part was the friend group i wish we got more scenes of all 5 together :( the only problem was i kinda got bored after the last couple episodes it was SLOW! and had to skip some parts bc what i liked originally from this show was how fast paced it was and how it was pretty much straight foward and feel like the writers kinda gave up in the end and dragged it a bit BUT!! and also the “love triangle” (tho idk if it would even be considered that bc the FL never liked the second love interest) and how the writers just HAD to bring up again after so many years have passed like??? nevertheless i found it enjoyable and the cinematography of this show is super underrated! chen xiao xi and jing xiao became one of my fav friendships after this <3

it started off really strong and i liked most, if not all episodes, but it suddenly started focusing on the side character’s story wayy more than the cheerleading club and i wished we got more scenes of the other friendships other than just the practice scenes :( the random love triangle idk know if it could really be considered a love triangle or not was unnecessary and didnt really add anything same with the parents and the whole step sibling thing. other than that, i LOVED the characters dynamics. even the su-a who i didnt like most of the time! i think they way her mom was forcing her to overachieve academically was done very well. this drama really shows how even those you dont like, you grow together. “i’m cheering for who i am today”Was this review helpful to you?

BRILLIANT!im gonna be honest, the first couple episodes were slow for me but as i kept going it was getting more and more interesting and the pacing catches up real quick! for starters i didn’t really know what the drama was about i kind of just watched it like i do with most dramas i watch, but the crime and suspense kept me going and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! for me the plot was kind of confusing at first and i had a lot of questions but at some point i picked up on what was going on and started understanding more as it went on.
lee joon-gi (is such an amazing actor you can literally feel his emotions as he’s acting and GOD did i love him in this drama. from start to finish his performance did not disappoint! the same for kim ji-hoon, the way he portrayed baek hee-seong had me shaking every time. you could really tell all the actors gave it their all. THE ENDING: that second to last episode had me SCREAMING, then the way do hyun-soo had lost all those 14 years of memories with ji-woon broke my heart ? but that last scene with the whole family made me happy and sad again. truly a show that gives you everything!

for starters the first episode totally hooked me and my first impression of dan-oh was “oh shes a little quirky cute main character”. the way she thought she would be the main character after finding out she was in a comic book world was so relatable and funny. to start with things i disliked about the drama: the first couple episodes were great! until you start getting annoyed at the love triangles. baek kyung was SOO annoying throughout the show and it was so very obvious who dan-oh should end up with, but had a redemption arc towards the end? i also didn’t like nam-ju’s character at ALL. he did nothing throughout the show and didnt even get to have an ego and realize he was the protagonist of the comic book. ju-da was alright and i was ROOTING for do-hwa, i mean he is the best character out of the A3 and was sad when ju-da ended up choosing nam-ju over him because “nam-ju cant live without me but you can” ?!?! makes no sense and he deserved better ?. also there were many plotholes and questions that should have been answered but it didnt bother me that much. that ending tho ? when ha-ru disappeared it broke my heart but i was happy to see them appear again in the next comic book or “universe” like they did before. now onto things i liked: EUN DA-NO! her character was my fave and kept me entertained always, the way she wanted to change her fate was admirable. the romance btwn the main leads was very cute and made me keep rooting for them until the end. lastly, the friendship trio between dan-oh, ha-ru, and do-hwa was my favorite thing ever ??Was this review helpful to you?

not sure what i was expecting when i fist jumped into this but it wasn't bad at all i liked the buildup of the friendships in the beginning and the acting was incredible. i do prefer the first half of the show but the tension that happened afterward just showed how traumatic and life changing decisions around bullying and assault can change someone's life. it does get frustrating and hard to watch at times so i wouldn't recommend to someone who doesn't enjoy violent scenes as it shows in almost every ep. maybe im the only one confused but im not sure how soo ho ended up in the end? was he dead or did he survive? what i found most frustrating was how beom seok had so many chances to apologize and change his actions before he could hurt another person but just failed to do so in every chance he gets? i understand he was bullied several times & harassed by his own dad at home and i actually felt bad for him in the beginning but i feel like if he just talked things out with the group things would be different than they ended up being, which i feel like was kind of the whole point of the show (how bullying influences/ changes people?) anyways shi eun was such a good character and ji hoon was incredibleWas this review helpful to you?

watched weekly as it came out since ep 4
might justtt be better than season one but i dont remember a whole lot of it so..i actually liked most of the participants tho sometimes i would get mad..but i felt real chemistry between all of them so that was good and i felt so bad for nadine and especially sejeong i liked her since the first ep and it felt really dissapointing seeing nobody be super into her :( i never really thought seulki would turn out to be the most 'popular' contestant with the men so that was kind of surpiring and im lowkey glad she went with her heart and chose jongwoo he was always super into her and you could tell he was sincere with her like he had no eyes for another girl. jinyoung was pretty alright he did have chemistry with seulki but you could tell she changed her mind and went with jongwoo the last day or so. overall it was good and i pretty much binged the first 4 eps and had to wait the next day for the next episodes to come out aha
