Yeah I think he's okay now, yesterday they were live again and the team selected a few letters that their fans had written to them, so they were reading those and getting emotional. Man I really wish I could write to them too but I'm happy with what they got. Also yeah the fanservice is like crazyy and even the director commented on it, like guys sometimes you're doing too much 🤣 But jokes aside idk if they're in a relationship or not, but they're really close, Ollie told him meeting you was the luckiest thing in my life, and shu yuan wasn't expecting that so he got teary, and I was watching feeling like I'm seeing something private I shouldn't see 😅

OMG I love your comment! I've never related to someone so much but when I tell you I felt exactly like you did throughout the journey before and while watching this drama..I mean it! I'm definitely not an author, but I feel like CBLs tend to have more of a storytelling and layers to the characters than the Thai ones. I've read danmei before, and some of it is so awesome that it NEEDs to be adapted..that's why I'm glad that so many chinese ones are coming up coz then hopefully we'll get to see more of these amazing stories on screen.

Now I was just starting this one casually and now I'm so hooked I've even watched all their live streams and added the songs to the playlist, btw if you haven't listened to the songs you should coz even they have meaning in whichever scene they're used and convey the feelings of the characters without them talking. I LOVE these two actors, and their dynamic, and the director for casting them in this drama. Many people have already complained about their acting, and Shu yuan(GZ & ZZ) was crying on live a few days ago coz people said he wasn't as expressive as Ollie. Now this is like literally their very first role and I've seen many famous and seasoned actors act worse than them so idk where the problem is? Anyway the director has already confirmed that they'll have a second collaboration, tho when that happens we don't know, and I'm hoping its sooner! He's also extremely talented, the way he has made everything flow so seamlessly, even we the audience are confused about what's acting and what's irl. Also the original novel was a lot more disturbing, so he made a lot of changes in this series, which people think detracted from the nuance the characters have, but to me even that seems perfect coz I believe FC and GZ were even less likeable in it, atleast here you want to root for their relationship, even if its questionable..

I forgot to mention that Ik exactly the reel you're talking about coz I saw it too and by then I was already watching this, so that made me more interested about the director haha..then I found this is the first project for all there..and to say I was stunned would be an understatement.

Dw if you watch this with an open mind you'll enjoy it! Tbh its really unique, and even the songs used have special meaning or something that the character is thinking or going through in that moment. I'd say watch till 5 eps

Same. I also don't like to watch MLs who're obsessed with the FL who doesn't care or cares about something else more, example Princess Royal and Overdo ig. Now did you only watch till ep 7 or that particular clip of him saying that? Tbh I was satisfied with what happened there at the end, and throughout this whole drama as I said the other one also has some crazy lines like that, I don't want too spoil much but its in ep 8. The only thing that people are complaining about happens in the last episode, but hopefully it'll be resolved or the other will be more decisive in the final episode, so we can't say much about it without watching till the end..

I'd say he loves him as much but its shown differently in this series. There's a movie within this, where they play two characters whom you can call second male leads, since they take up half the screen time. There he's the one who shows his love more than the other, and the other acts subdued. This is said to be his mirror self, who he actually is as a person within. There's also a scene where he says that he's the only one who's mask comes off when he's acting, when the others usually put on a mask to portray their characters. So yes, they're both equally obsessed in that way, but its shown in different occasions, and not in your face kinda thing.

I think you should watch them now..in my opinion they hit harder if you don't binge all at once

Its not that much of a problem, only like 2-3 scenes which might imply that one is more obsessed with the other. I think the other is older, so more rational than the younger one, thus he might not show his love as much, but he's still firmer than many other leads I've seen..he knows he what he likes and says it, instead of acting confused about his feelings.

Yup a series can be really good with the plot, acting, cinematography, but if you add really good music to the mix..it just becomes top tier

I'm rewatching and now I'm obsessed with all the songs used in different parts of the story to highlight what they're feeling, especially during Dr. Fang and Gao zhun there's a really sad instrumental that plays and I still haven't found what it is!

Low standards? Many high production dramas have sub par plots and famous actors who can't act, so this is better on all terms. Nothing about it is the same old bs that's recycled in a lot of shows today. Also the characters are very few, so it focuses a lot on their interactions and how every person has a dark side, this just amplifies it in a drama setting. Only people who lack analytical skills are saying they understand none of what's happening here and honestly that's valid from their perspective.
