It is hard to find a slice of life genre in Korean dramas and I started the growing trend now. Move to Heaven is another great addition. I wish we can get another season.
I'll try to explain my perspective. hope it helps :)
I never cry at dramas, that super tragic deaths or lovers cheesy lines don't touch me. But I cried my eyes out on this. This drama showed us ordinary peoples normal, quiet deaths. and its the most REALEST thing I've seen in dramas.
I fell in love with that people in 10 minutes, you know why? they aren't just fictional characters, they are people around us, we know them all for many many years: our family members, our neighbors, strangers across the street etc. e.g. I remembered my grandpa's death or how I didn't do anything for my old lonely neighbor bcs I thought her sons we doing everything for her. After years I realized it was a lie.ㅠㅠ or how some women who I knew was killed by her husband and people said maybe it was her fault bcs her husband was a good man. etc. THEY ARE ALL REAL and often we do nothing for them :(
I think we all cry to things we can relate. Hope these stories don't touch you, because you can't relate. I'd be happy for you then. (sorry if my assumption is wrong).
Beyond Evil isn't just a drama. It's an artistic reconstitution, the breeze you respire, its a motive for existence, a departure from this atrocious cosmos, an embosom from a cherished one, it's a moment for history books, a body of finest craftsmanship.
Came for the spooks, but instead I got barrels full of tears. I watched the last half of the show while exercising since I couldn't keep still. Running while bawling my eyes out and cussing out park il-do burns a lot of calories!
idc what anyone says this is one of my all time fav dramas..as someone from the lgbt community ep5 was so touching and beautiful..really liked the writers choice of words..for me it deserved the number 1 spot
It’s officially going to be on Netflix June 15 in my country, and I cannot wait to watch it all over again! And by that I mean to binge watch it on one sitting lol ^^
