It's not even a melo, but I often find myself cry watching this. Recently in the latest ep, I don't even expect…
Fun fact, actor Heo Sungtae playing Lee Changjin really majored in Russian literature during uni hence he can speak Russian in this drama. He is really funny irl. He hashtags his Beyond Evil posts as 러꺼비 which is shortcut for Russian Toad xD.
He is a very sleazy character but I also can't help but laugh whenever he acts cute and lovestruck in front of Jihwa. I love how the characters in this drama aren't one-note.
YJG's performance at the end was crazy. The way so many emotions went through his face in such a short period. The amazing transition when his expression went from helpless, betrayed, in despair... to pure anger and fury. I'm just in awe.
yjg and shk acting skills are out of this world seriously!!! their body talk, facial expressions and literally everything about their performances are top-notch, both are excellent actors. but not only them, the acting and chemistry between the whole cast is really amazing!! i still can't believe this is jaeyi's actress debut project, she is SO GOOD.
It's building up for a great finale. I only hope that both LDS and HKW will be alright at the end :( One more week for this amazing series, I will definitely rewatch it another time.
Omg can someone tell me who killed kang Jin moo, Nam sang bae and lee yu yeon?
Kang jin mook killed himself provoked by the Russian guy and nam sang bae was killed by the Russian guy ordered by han juwon father and lee yu yeon was killed directly by han juwon father
I thought Koreans don't want to be like China but censoring freedom of artistic expression in a fantasy drama seems otherwise lol. I also don't get the idea of international kdrama watchers being advised to sit this out and not have an opionion in what has to do with a "korean drama." They shouldn't have made korean dramas available internationally and gain from it if they are the only ones who has a right to have a voice in dramas from their country smh. Knetz is becoming more and more absurd
The haters on this page are repeat offenders who wrote similar nonsense weeks ago.
If you can't connect the dots and read between the lines, then Beyond Evil is not for you. The people who love this show have done the thinking and connected the dots for themselves. The creators of Beyond Evil didn't make this show to be easy viewing. The complexity is why it's beautiful.
Beyond Evil is for independent thinkers who notice the details, who appreciate good writing/directing/acting, who reflect on what they have seen, who feel for the misery the characters are going through.
The Level 1 questions are, "Who's the killer?" "How did they kill them?"
But the REAL question, the more important question the writers want you to think about is, "How have these events affected us and how will we live with it?"
If you want to watch more sensationalized violence, red herrings that have zero meaning other than to distract the viewer and plot twists with no underlying emotional connections, Beyond Evil is NOT the show for you.
If you want to watch a straight police procedural, US shows like NCIS: SVU will be perfect for you.
Stop coming to this page to hate on Beyond Evil just because you don't understand it. The rest of us DO understand, and that's why we love it.
