Ep. 2 felt like a filler episode to me, but still a pretty cute one! The solution to their problem was so obvious we could have moved somewhere else instead. But I guess it's meant to show Kouta what a good guy Naoya is.

I don't understand why subtitles use their second names while audio adresses them by their first names, though. It's distracting.

It's quite good! Pretty long, but interesting. And way less cringe than I expected from it based on the premise 😊

To add to this a bit, it's not like top won't ever bottom or vice-versa. I think many gay/bi men try both positions during their lifetime, top/bottom/vers is basically just a preference label that makes things easier (especially for hookups). Of course, there are some people that will stick with just one exclusively, but I think that's quite rare nowadays (not that there are any useable statistics for this).

In BL, you will most likely have a clear top/bottom dynamics. There are instances when the partners "switch" once, but it isn't really indicated that both of them label themselves as vers/switches (I think Bad Buddy is the closest we've got to two versatile MLs so far). Also, don't think of it as "taking turns" literally. It barely indicates that neither of them has a clear preference for either topping or bottoming, so it's up to them how to decide roles each time. The "taking turns" would be sort of a fair compromise, although pretty impractical imo. [Overall BL puts a heavy weights and expectations on being top or bottom, so "taking turns" would be the easiest way for them to portray in term of power dynamics.]

Gia made it pretty clear they aren't dating this episode. Thank god for that. I'm tired of "jealous girlfriend" subplots.

While I like my favorite characters to suffer from time to time, I really hope they won't show us Dao trying to date Phaphaeng. That would hurt too much.

Phoon is giving me creeps a bit. Especially when he told Dao he'll get him drunk, a warning bell went off in my mind. Or just saying in front of everyone that they (Nuea and Phoon) are flirting!! Weird. I don't think he's gonna be a bad guy, but I'm still team Kluen 100 %. #NueaKluen #KluenNuea #GuavaJuice.
