I think the leaked photos fit this idea the best. The dress and his outfit is the same from end of ep8. Like why not wear something different if it was for ep10 when everything has blown over.

And agree with the points above, its in the show's best interest to have a happy ending for rewatch value and will be remembered well.

Because with this series, we are never sure and never made to feel confident for a happy ending. So perhaps it will be a happy ending. 🤷‍♀️

I think its to show what really went down when Yeong was kidnapped by Jin Mu? Maybe the boys and Yeong knew each other. I hope its not a montage of her life as she dies and Uk seeing the memories. 😭

Nothing to be explained, I think JSM didn't want to come back for a scene. And having a replacement adult actress might be offensive to JSM, her fans and perhaps the show world itself.

Its presumed the cameo was the 1 sec illusion Jang Uk saw, when he was drunk at the end of ep4. If she really had any further cameos, ep 8 would've been the ideal time to do so, not the child we saw.

The moral dilemma is that Jang Gang used sorcery and look at all the chain of events that resulted from that and Jang Uk seeing the soul shifters memories when they die has shifted his opinions too. There's just no spare bodies laying around and how cruel would that be to do to someone.
