My personal opinion: I don't think it's dumb. I didn't know it would going to be this good. When its first episode was released, I thought to give it a try and it was good...I loved it. It's sad and funny at the same time and I think it won't go that bad. If you don't have any drama yet, you should give it a try. I hope it helps :)
