So now that I've finally read up to Chapter 152 (still reading) and know what's going on, I wonder...obviously everything will be censored and Mo Ran & Wanning will just have a strong master/disciple relationship. But since ultimately this IS geared towards the Damnei's fans, by making Shi Mei female, are they going to make hers & Mo Ran's a brother/sister relationship? (sort of like WWX & Yan Li's characters in the untamed?....is what I hoped for. But now seeing the "Romance" tag makes me think otherwise. If there really is romance between Mo Ran & Shi Mei in the drama then I have a feeling I'll just cry and rewatch Word of Honor & The Untamed Lol.

I'm reading the novel too and although the drama strays from it quite a bit, it's not bad at all. Part of me is preparing myself for a sad ending but still trying to remain a little hopeful.

Unpopular opinion probably but I'm excited for this BECAUSE of how clique it is Lmao. My heart still hurts from how they decided to end MODC so I'm hoping the cheesy clique-ness of this results in a clique happy ending. That's all I want Lol. But no point in pre-judging based on trailers, we'll see when it airs.

Honestly, I was looking forward to this so much cause I love both Zanilia & Yibo but I skimmed through it all. Idk what it was but it was missing SOMETHING..although I have to say the fighting scenes were cool and well done imo~
