Nah you not alone. It was a good kiss but not good enough. I need some watery saliva kiss. DEEP AND LUSTFUL. I…
We want to see eating! πππ Although, I just read somewhere that what we saw was meant to reflect first time shyness, etc. So I guess we wait for their domestic era and see.
Who remembers Unforgotten Night? This is giving 2024 version of Unforgotten Night. Bad and cringe, but we're somehow watching.ππ Kim and Kamol all over again!
So the actor who plays Sheng Wang is Chinese and Benjamin Tsang is Taiwanese. People seem to be anticipating Season 2 and hoping for overt romance - will the Chinese actor want to be part of the project and participate in the promotions?
How will that work? Will her not be cancelled in his own country?
I would watch this even if the love story were not the focus. I think it's doing a terrific job portraying how…
Hey Maggie, lovely hearing from you. We've not watched the same BL together for a while. This is an interesting distinction that you're making here - BL vs LGBT experience. I am gathering that you're saying BLs are hyper fiction. Would I be correct?
It was very interesting and heart warming to see Tian be expressive with Wang at the match. A very different boy from the one who appeared aloof and distant.
Also, I miss his 'moments' at the end of every episode. Now that he's an open book, we no longer get those secret thoughts.
Iβm frankly a bit surprised that some viewers did not enjoy the brief (brief-less) rear-view-only streaking…
I am guessing these would be the same people who have a problem with gay NC scenes. It speaks of a deeper problem of wanting gay stories but not gay people. I might be taking this a little too seriously, but this is the environment in which we live - among bigoted people who claim to be allies.
Nothing like a thought provoking BL steeped in reality to invigorate one's life. I was watching a reaction once upon a time where queer people were sharing that much of what is seen in media is a sanitised version of gay life for the hetero gaze. Gay life and more specifically, gay love is much more nuanced that what is selected for showing.
I wonder if we can say that about this show. Much of what is happening to them, although hectically graphic, has nothing to do with being gay. I think its a human experience. Wanting to die, afraid to hope, finding love, those are all human experiences. I dunno, I might be waffling, but there is a profound feeling with this BL that I am grateful for. Deeply grounding for me who usually refuses to engage media and just want to consume.
