I think you're right about how cliched and predictable it is. But also very charming AND watchable. I'm on this page everyday in hopes that Thursday will come sooner rather than later.
I have not moved on from Ep5. Those kisses looked so real. The hallmark of this series has been how they don't lean too deeply into the tropes. This I have appreciated as it makes me feel like I'm watching real human relationships.
We get dead fish kisses more than spice from JBL on average. More recently, think back to Takara and I wonder if Kohei will be any different once we reach that point.
The shipping culture has reached dizzying heights and this series is not helping. People are claiming to see things and its deeply disturbing. Not sure what can be done about this because even members sharing their discomfort with shipping culture, it continues.

Long history and children really complicate things. The divorce is meant to extricate her from the demands of wifehood, but they still have a responsibility as parents to come together for critical moments in their family's lives.
It was not possible to end with Dr Kim because she was married and exhausted when they met. He had never married or even had kids and he deserved to experience those things with someone who wasnt as jaded as Dr Cha. I felt it was fair they didnt end up together.
