Why this production had such a bad luck, it should have been out in 2021.

I assume that at some point a smart producer will buy the rights for the book to make a new adaptation, considering the hype BL and even westren BL had recently, it will be immediate success.

It's too bad we won't see these actors play Mo Ran and Chu Wanning, but this book deserves a good faithful adaptation, it's 2026, we deserve it.

I never saw anyone going the a fluffy BL pages and complain oh it's too wholesome, they should add some toxicity.
I don't get the need to come to the very few toxic BL released and be preachy.

This series is so good to create so many discussions and different analysis, just for this they should get an award.

I wish all adaptations will stay faithful as much as possible to source material and respect their readers.

There is a REASON why they are all beloved novels, BECAUSE they are toxic, unhinged and thrilling.
Stop listening to all the fragile, whiny crowd and ruin good novels with lukewarm, mediocre live actions.
