A Hidden Gem from 2023/2024

Last Twilight - (A Hidden Gem drama)
Featuring JimmySea
Chemistry đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„ Can I wrap this relationship up with pretty wrapping paper & exquisite bow & take it home with me?
Favorite Line: "Will You Be My Once Again?"

A Beautiful & Heartwarming drama. "Last Twilight." This series was not a recommendation, but a drama that just popped up while searching for something to watch... and I am grateful to have discovered this. The storyline is compelling, and I was deeply impressed by how the lead actors portrayed their characters with such sincerity and depth.

Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok and Sea Tawinan Anukoolprasert are outstanding. This was my first time seeing them in any other dramas. Their ability to make the relationship between Day and Mhok feel so believable is a testament to their talent. In particular, Sea’s portrayal of Day felt effortless; his body language and expressions perfectly captured the frustrations and nuances of navigating life with a visual impairment.

I also want to commend the writers, Bee Pongsate Lucksameepong and Best Kittisak Kongka, for such a beautiful screenplay. The story handles complex themes of stereotyping, acceptance, and personal hurdles with great sensitivity. The emotional journey Day and Mhok travel together—learning to accept life’s ups and downs—is truly indelible.

Furthermore, the direction and cinematography are exceptional. The mountain locations were breathtaking and provided a perfect backdrop for the story’s more reflective moments.

"Last Twilight" is a 10-star production that I look forward to rewatching. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a meaningful work of art.

Outstanding & Heart Touching drama

Recently finished the Midnight Series: Moonlight Chicken

🧡Bravo to the Leading casts—Earth, Mix, Khaotung, First, Gemini, and Fourth💛
Even more so for the screenwriters, producers, and the behind-the-scenes crew.

This drama was a deeply moving experience that I didn't fully expect. It skillfully addressed complex life issues, from the challenges of raising a relative and financial struggles to the pain of a love life ending in tragedy. I was particularly struck by how it portrayed young adults seeking their identity, the sting of betrayal, and the difficulty of navigating dying relationships.

There were moments that truly challenged me, with the scenes depicting the ignorant myths surrounding the LGBTQ+ community (especially when my grandchild is part of this community!). 😒 focusing on a scene that has me literally screaming ... "What are you talking about??? If your nephew didn't live with you & being a Gay uncle, he wouldn't have become Gay? WTH are you talking about? Being Gay is NOT ccontagious, nor is it a learned lifestyle 🙄 for pete sake. đŸ€ŠđŸŒâ€â™€ïž
This is such a common iignorance among people that truly believe that if you are around any kind of person from the LGBTQ+ community, that they will rub off on you?"
Why in the world would anyone be so ignorant, naive... or literally lacking Intelligence, even consider that the conclusion!?! EDUCATION works WONDERS! Bring your ignorance to the back of the bus or better yet ... KICK IT OFF THE BUS!!!
This part of the drama had me screaming at him and asking WTH are you talking about, you and your ridiculous sister that claims to be a parent???
Thank you Wen for being the voice of reason, which he does throughout this whole drama!!!
My favorite character ***Wen*** 😊

The ending was particularly touching; Kaipa’s tribute from son to mother was beautiful and had me reaching for the tissues. It was a poignant reminder that while it takes time to accept failure or the choices we've made, everyone eventually finds their solid ground.

A pairing lost

This is going to be a short and quick review on the drama "Venus in the Sky."

While I was a bit unsure at first, I decided to stick with it past the third episode to see where things went! Although the "spicy" scenes certainly lived up to the hype, I felt the chemistry between Tod and Cheque took a while to find its footing. I did find myself wishing the writing had been a bit gentler with Venus's character, as his reactions to Sky felt quite intense at times.

I think the story would have been even more enjoyable if it were a bit more concise. Focusing more on the main couple and streamlining some of the side stories could have really helped the pacing! I ended up skipping ahead a bit toward the end just to see our leads reach their resolution.

I've researched to see if Tod Panapong Khaisang & Cheque Wacharawee Kaewpoolsri will be making other dramas as a pair, because honestly.. they do have fresh chemistry.
Unfortunately, I found that Cheque left his agency & Tod is coming up with a drama, but Cheque is NOT his ship. I wish them the best in life & hope that wherever their path leads them, they find health, happiness & peace of mind.

An upbeat drama to watch when need laughter in your day

I just finished watching this drama and wanted to share my thoughts.
At first, I had to check MDL to confirm the genre because I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a comedy or if it just had a bad script. Thankfully, it is a comedy!

The series is incredibly over-the-top with everything. For instance, I couldn't stop laughing at the bathtub placed in a shallow wading pool in the first episode. The dynamic between the characters is also entertaining; Peach acts as the voice of common sense, while Thee is an unoriginal "drama king."

Overall, it’s a great show if you need a happy pick-me-up, though I likely wouldn't add it to my re-watch list.
I’d give it a personal rating of 7/10.
While the pairing was good, I felt the intimate connection fell a bit short as they got closer, perhaps due to the rom-com format.

My favorite part was the final episode where Pond sings; his vocals are beautiful. I’ve actually been looking up his and Phuwin’s music on YouTube to add to my playlist.

REALLY... What the heck. Who cares about the peaches????

Peach Lover... 2/10 (1 star for both leads)This would have been a good drama if they kept the narrative about peaches & how it's related to seduction, love etc. Having to fast forward through all this nonsense about peaches is so annoying.

When it first started out about the mask man talking breaking up with peach, etc.. the storyline was pretty interesting. They totally went off script of the ***Peach Lover*** to just ... what??? The title of the drama is PEACH LOVER... NOT... let's learn about an off the wall relationship while being narrated about freaking peaches & how they are infused throughout the WHOLE drama. The drama would have pulled higher ratings if it wasn't for the nonsense narration on peaches in my personal opinion..

Po, becoming interested in becoming the mask man's new Peach... all this was making it feel that it was going to be a fairly good out of the box drama. UNTIL........ every freaking time they started narrating about the fruit peaches! OMG.. dude, if I wanted to know about the fruit & how it's looked at as a seduction fruit... I'll GOOGLE ! I don't think the writer realized how annoying this was going to be.
The young male lead actor playing Po's role, his facial expressions, they can be creepy & there were plenty of times he looked like he wanted to devour the targeted area he was eyeing . What was even funnier was the scene with him eating a peach during ... well ... during. While he is thinking about the ***during*** and explaining to his friend about when eating ... YES, you're right... eating a PEACH... OMG... tag this drama Peachy Porn Comedy. I've seen more seduction with someone putting a condom on a banana with their mouth . I know that I've been hard on this character, but it's just been annoying how the writer gives this character such a sleazy side... then I thought, maybe not sleazy, but more on the Nymphomania side (which isn't a problem if he was).  However, After watching & learning more of Po's inner thoughts.. I found later that he was neither... he just needed that special warmth & attention from someone he adored.

🙄HELLO... Why is the 2nd couple even in this??? Cute couple. yet... with the sleaziness of this drama, they're a bit out of place in my personal opinion.

The best part of this drama was when Po does his video diary .. It's sincere and helps understand his thoughts of who and why his feelings are at a crossroads with his relationship with Sasom. Sexual scenes became a little more tame after episode 3, but picked up again... . As the drama progresses, I noticed that Po is growing more mature in his thought process. I'm trying to find the reasoning behind this storyline........ then around Episode 8 is when things start to get serious.. and for the first time, I felt tears for Po. Yet, I felt his decision that he made was a wise choice, especially when the pain he felt inside during the issue with Sasom's past showing up & how Sasom couldn't bring himself to admit who or what position Po is to him. That even hurt me to tears... it's an uncomfortable feeling, especially after Sasom's confession the night prior.

One thing for sure.. this main leading actor  Ki Niwat Naknuan is really outstanding with portraying his character (personally rated his acting with this character 10/10). His maturity, expressions & chemistry on screen ... he knows how to pull the viewer in. This is only his 2nd drama, but the 1st time being a main Lead. The other drama he is starring in is *Interminable, which I'm not sure I'll watch. I'm on the fence in deciding. One thing for sure, is I hope to see more of his acting skills in leading roles... he's definitely powerful. Hopefully, he will be matched with someone who can match his pace. Unless he's already with the actor Poom who plays his partner.

OMG.. I'm tired of ranting about this drama....Watch it at your own risk. I would say from ep 7 & 8 is when the story finally felt more focused.

Very Precious ... Indeed!

WARNING... HAVE TISSUES READY!!!
I honestly didn't think this was going to be one of those movies that will tear you up inside.
This Little Actress Jung Seo Yeon was Incredibly Outstanding and honestly deserves the Best Actress Award for the character that she fully embraced. I have to admit this little girl stole the show... she pulled me in and I couldn't or wouldn't let go.
The pairing of the leading actor and this little girl radiated warmth in everything Precious when trying to understand the unknown and grow with the unfamiliar. This Actor (Jin Goo) pulled it off completely.
I rarely ... RARELY watch movies.. and when I do, I mostly likely won't rate them.
HOWEVER... this deserves a 10 Star all around.
Beautiful, Outstanding, Heartwarming, Heartbreaking & an Incredible Script.

You Are My Hero (A Must Watch) How it can touch you in Reality

From the very 1st to the Very last ep... I've couldn't help but embrace what was going on.
In any relationship.. it takes work and understanding. This showed how much that those things truly matter. We tend to take advantage of the one that is beside us. Not realizing how our actions and words can affect them in the end.
The approach the writer took regarding the building of each relationship of the Main Leads and the 2nd. Is truly a masterpiece in my own opinion.
With the different emergency situations going on and how it can affect the relationship is something not to take lightly. It's true that most relationships will not work, when the work environment or career conflicts with each other's. If they aren't willing to work together to keep their relationship strong.... then they weren't serious to begin with. Breaking up is the easy way out.... but... fighting and struggling to make things work and embracing each and every moment with each other whether long distance for school or just because of your career takes guts. Yet... famous people break up when they just don't have the time to be together. Others break up because they are leaving to go abroad or they want more time with their partner that has a schedule that can't give that.
When you accept that one special person in your life... You're accepting the whole of that person, not just parts and pieces of what suits you. If you can't accept all of who that person is... there is no relationship to be acknowledge.
This is why I've enjoyed every part of this drama... it opens the eyes and hearts.

Love Upon a Time
12 episodes

When this drama first started, I wasn’t sure it would keep my full attention, but thankfully I was wrong. While some actors didn’t quite match the chemistry of their co-stars, the overall experience was still enjoyable. Setting aside the silliness of Klao’s character and focusing on the drama, beautiful cinematography, and traditional attire made it easy to overlook his antics. I loved how even a simple scene like bathing in a historical setting became an OMG moment. The series also touched on the opium crisis in history and its devastating effects, which added depth. It covered everything I find fascinating about Thai culture.

My favorite characters were:
đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„ Phop (past and present – excellent acting)
đŸŒ»đŸŒ»đŸŒ» Kaew (past and present – gorgeous and talented)
*** Jom (past and present)

Credit to the screenwriters May Piangpaitoon Satrawaha and Porndee Satrawaha for their excellent work. My only drawback was the casting; while many Thai dramas pair established couples, sometimes one actor excels at expressions while the other lacks subtlety or overacts, which can break the scene’s ambiance. For me, the lead pairings here were just mediocre, so I couldn’t rate it higher than 9/10.

WHO WROTE THIS DRAMA (smh ... sigh)

From the beginning... this drama line... OMG... went from immature silly to ridiculous to *Who In The Hell Wrote this Drama*.
You have Amazing Casts... especially with a top hitter actor Xing Zhao Lin.
Yet in my personal opinion the drama couldn't be saved ... even if they pulled in 10 star casts.
This drama gave little to be desired and by the Last five eps .. my question is *WTH.. Who wrote this?* (sarcastically that is)
Well... 1350 of my viewing hours into the garbage. I took a gamble to watch this...

Personal rating ... 2/10 (that's stretching it)
Unfortunately I personally will not recommend it..
HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that it's not your type of drama. You may like it, love it or regret watching it. The decision is yours.

A Love that brought Top Form!!!

I wanted to share my thoughts and a review on the drama Top Form.

I was initially hesitant to watch it due to the 18+ restricted rating for violence and profanity, as heavy violence can trigger my PTSD. However, I decided to watch a few episodes and was pleasantly surprised. While I braced myself for the violence, it seemed minimal—leaving me wondering if it was edited out or replaced with more Steamy scenes, if you know you know😉 .

The casting for the two leads was incredible. I have done some research on both Smart and Boom. Regarding Smart, I have many questions about his sudden departure from his agency right as his career was taking off, and I hope he is doing well and succeeding with his outstanding vocal talents. As for Boom, I deeply admire his resilience through difficult times. The chemistry between Smart and Boom felt completely genuine and unacted, and they made a phenomenal on-screen couple.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional love story and how the characters supported each other against the pressures of their company and the media, certain plot points were frustrating. For instance, it made little sense how a non-relative could take ownership of a deceased person's priceless things. You'll understand it if you watch the drama.
That aside, the emotional delivery was powerful; Boom’s acting genuinely moved me to tears, making him only the second male actor to ever do so.

I am very glad I decided to watch this drama, though the cliffhanger ending was tough. If there is a second part to Top Form, it simply won't be the same without Smart and Boom.
They have truly left a lasting impression on me, and I wish them both the absolute best.

VICE VERSA is Worth the Watch

12 Episodes
SeaJimmy : Perfect Pairing
Personal Rating: 9.5/10

Getting through the cringing parts... and foolish acting, this was pretty much a Good Watch.
I enjoy the two leads... Sea & Jimmy, they have a special connection. In this drama, I didn't feel too much of a romantic connection though, not like " My Magic Prophecy". Which in my personal taste was a Great drama.

The one thing that I listen for are conversations that stick out or are memorable when it comes to the leads. The Dialogue was going well... and then in episode 9, something is said by *Tun due to what he doesn't have in this alternate life, so he makes a wish that when explained to the one person he cares for...*Tess, which sets Tess off. In these scripts, I never understand why at the precise moment that these two grown men can't allow each other enough maturity to explain why *Tun has those feelings of wanting to stay. There are so many misunderstanding in dramas when it comes to any genre'... and very little "Wait, what did you say? Why do you feel this way? Instead, there is anger and walking away etc.. etc... It truly doesn't get these characters anywhere.
However, in a roundabout way *Tess learns his mistake with *Tun, by listening to his close friend *Kita. However, why should it take that road... why not cut the middleman and just talk it through at the time all this misunderstanding happened. Is it because it's not exciting enough for the viewers?
The conversation between Tess and Pang, had me tear up for her and Tun. In situations that people endure through life.. can be more intense than what I go through, so I have no right to judge or DICTATE what is right and wrong for them.
đŸ„°OMG THE HAT.... I FORGOT ABOUT THE HAT 🩙. Episode 9 hit me with goosebump & a little bit of tears!!!

From this point on (ep9), I'm just going to stop my review and express highly for those who are reading this...
*VICE VERSA* is a drama you shouldn't miss.
The rest of the drama doesn't disappoint, in my personal opinion.

Did I have low expectations with this drama?

***BURNOUT SYNDROME***
10 Episodes ... BL Drama
Featuring: Gun & Off

The artwork is exquisite which I have to make to be the opening remark! Whoever is truly doing the artwork, has a beautiful eye for art. The Artistic work is what compels me to continue to watch this drama! The intensity of what goes into the drawing & how Jira feelings flow into each of his drawings.

Let's begin with the *Burnout Club*. Interesting concept for those who are stressed out, and meeting a stranger to either vent or just to find out more about each other. This drama gives off so many different emotions, especially with Koh. He goes through so many emotions that it made me a bit dizzy... more so with what he is going through with Jira. Personally, the shipping just was not there.. and leaned heavily toward Jira and Pheem take off. The annoyance of Koh always hitting at the wrong time was overwhelming. If this is what the writer wanted the viewer to experience... It's a success for me personally.
Then came the realization of his Art being the forefront of Jiras Heart. Especially understanding the Bad Boy syndrome being an attraction to the heart.

With everything Pheem is going through.. can't help but want to throw some hugs his way. The rollercoaster of emotions regarding Jira is overwhelming him.
HOWEVER, if I were to put my heart out there because of the crap that Jira is going through.. it would be his friend Ing. OMG, talk about a good friend.. all the coverups that she has to do for Jira. It's annoying, but at the same time hilarious. Jira has issues of not wanting to just make a final decision. He is so confused with his emotions, that it's more detrimental to him than beneficial.
In my personal opinion, Episode 8 is when I can feel everything is starting to form an understanding between Jira & Koh.
If I were to put a spoiler in here... the only thing I would say is how much I cried for Pheem.
The rest of the drama is something I'm not going to mention.. You'll have to come to your own conclusions on how this drama snagged on your emotions.

Stay Healthy, Safe & Amazing

To the Screen Writer New Siwaj Sawatmaneekul.. BRAVO!!!

My thoughts regarding: "Until We Meet Again."
Deserves no less than 10 Stars
By the end of this drama... I flooded my room with tears.
Excellent Casting of Fluke, Earth, Ohm Outstanding connection with their characters and also
to the rest of the Amazing Casts Thank you for all your hard work.

Having previously watched the side story, "Between Us," I was initially undecided about starting this series. However, after completing it, I found the connection between the two stories deeply moving, though I believe watching them in chronological order would have offered a more seamless experience.

The casting is exceptional, and I would personally rate it ten stars. Sammy (Manow) brings a charismatic, bubbly energy that provides a wonderful sense of sunshine to the narrative. Furthermore, Earth (Intouch) and Fluke (Pharm) are perfectly matched; Earth’s portrayal of Intouch was heartwarming and bringing a unique color to the character that balances the emotional weight of the story.

***I wanted to take a moment away from my review to share some thoughts on a topic I frequently see discussed within the BL fandom. There is an ongoing conversation regarding the presentation of BL couples, whether in real-life pairings or within dramas, specifically concerning physical aesthetics and gender expression.
I have noticed many fans expressing that they find feminine-presenting males less appealing in these roles, arguing instead that muscular men are more "shippable" or visually preferable as a couple.
In my personal opinion, I don't believe that every BL relationship is looking for a traditionally masculine partner. There are many handsome, muscular men who truly adore and prefer their partners to have a more feminine expression.
My opinion that those who criticize gay or queer men for how they choose to express themselves are walking a very thin line. In my view, this criticism can lean toward homophobia, even when it comes from within the LGBTQ+ community. Those within the community should understand how difficult life can already be; there is no reason to make it harder for someone who is confident in their identity and proud of who they are. If anything, the most significant support should come from within the community itself. ***

Back to the drama review: The plot’s exploration of reincarnation and the tragic history of Korn and Intouch is incredibly poignant. The narrative successfully captures the heavy emotional toll of carrying memories from a past life, especially the sorrow and fear that radiate through Pharm. The series also touches on the profound impact of parental pressure, highlighting the injustice of restricting a child's identity and their right to love.
Despite the heavy themes, the relationship between Dean and Pharm is a highlight—the chemistry between Ohm and Fluke is captivating, making their scenes together genuinely heartwarming. While there were minor technical and sound issues throughout the production, the overall quality of the storytelling and acting makes this a series I highly recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
Stay Healthy, Happy & Amazing 😁

STAR & SKY: STAR IN MY MIND
Dunk & Joong are natural born actors!

I love this drama so much, I had to watch it again 😋 ... I enjoy this couple #Dunk & #Joong or as their fans put them #JoongDunk. Don't understand how they choose whose name goes first etc... đŸ€Ł. Yet in my book he is my bias... I would go #DunkJoong 😉
It's funny how when you first watch it, the 2nd or 3rd time you watch it... you see or hear things that you didn't pick up before & the understanding of the situation was a bit clearer.
It brought out how much the misunderstandings between the two characters Dao & Kleun slowed down their relationship to go forward. And even now... this annoys the heck out of me ... 😉. (The downside of watching a drama... is you see the full story, but you can't shake the person and scream ... "You got this all wrong!!!" or "Oh my goodness, can you just speak up and tell him the whole truth!!!" The number of times tears started to form ... is ridiculous lol.

Incredible Talented Casting

OMG.. I'm so happy that I didn't pass this drama up. I would have never found it or considered it if it wasn't for me looking up the main lead in ***Duang with You*** Por Suppakarn Jirachotikul.
This drama is the sweetest drama.. Loving the powerful character sister of Teerak. She's definitely a good role model. Especially when guiding Teerak in his relationship with Fah. (Going to look up more dramas that this young actress is in, she's excellent.)
Shipping pairs... Teerak & Fah, I admit was skeptical, but as the storyline continued.. I can see their relationship starting to mold. The way Teerak found a special way for him and Fah to start off getting to know about each other ... Excellent choice. They fit with personality & allowing their differences to make them stronger as a couple.
It also focuses on the growth of honesty & how keeping true feelings locked up can be more detrimental to your growth as an individual & not allowing others who care about you to move forward... especially in an unrequited affection.
At the end of the day... let me just recommend that you watch this drama.
If someone were to ask me ... what was your favorite scene in the whole drama:
Hands Down.. It's toward the very beginning (without spoiling it) is when Fah kissed drunk Teerak on the head. Well, it was more of a nose bump... LOL!!!
