I like 2gether and I actually bought the novel after watching the show. The character of Sarawat was portrayed correctly from the source material, not Bright being a bad actor. Even the level of physical intimacy is not heavy in the novel, Jittirain explains it was more about her love of the bands.
I really like this show but I have some issues that were not addressed at all. 1.How does Phol fighting skills just seem amateurish in his fight with Bhornchai? 2.There is CCTV almost everywhere in London, how does Bhornchai kill Phol ,with no consequences 3.There are hints that Aunt Rong ,has mental health issues but not explained 4. Aunt Rong is seen as homophonic, narcissistic and elitist, but surprise she cares about Nira now 5.Chom has spent the whole show trying to have sex with his own child but that ok because he loved Wat/Nira in his own a**hole way 6. Bhornchai beat and threaten his accomplice but trust him enough to be in his room alone List is not in order of importance, I just binged this in 1 day on Netflix
The misogyny, racism, homophobia, snobbery were hard to deal to with but it is good show. .I can understand why Baifern won Best actress for this series ,the other actors were great especially Angpao Thankorn Kanlayawuttipong as child Nira / Chananthawat.
