Great episode, it's insane to know he fell madly in love with her after 2days ahaha and bless her I know she feels…
Lol, I hated that ending so much. Like, you just threw away days of hard work (of women who really need that job) even after she apologized, and then I'm supposed to swoon 30 seconds later when he saves her because I guess she can't swim? Don't get me wrong, I like the show, but that ending just pissed me off. At least the preview makes it seem like he might actually be taken the job more seriously.
So, like, is Woo Da-vi's character gonna have a romance with Kim Mu-jun's? Look, all I'm saying is, I'm not about to watch Woo Da-vi end up heartbroken again damn it.
They never mentioned how much time they got. I wonder why. How much time do you guys think they got and deserved?
Honestly, I would've let them walk free, even if I know that's obviously not how the world works. But I assume they got a few years, since none of them really looked older when they got out, and they had a good lawyer (the judge being a woman might've helped too). Things could've been far worse I think.
why did Jin help them so much ? was he interested in one of them or because of his past ?
He felt guilty for planting the seed with Eun-su to kill the husband. But I also think that the fact he lost his son in the past plays a big part here. He couldn't save his son in the past, but he can at least help these two women in the present (especially since he feels partly responsible for the whole thing). In the end, he pretty much becomes the father figure that both women never really had.
on epi 6 and i need an explanation of how jang kang went from that old awkward employee to this bad guy image…
His character was always a big question mark honestly. They knew very little about him, only that he seemed decent, so using him was always a big risk, which obviously backfired. People hide their true colors all the time, his just came out when he smelled a big payday.
It might seem sudden, but think about it, the same thing clearly happened with Jin-pyo. Why else would Hui-su marry him in the first place?
I mean, he was in Vietnam, so I guess the 3 of them are together, just not in a romantic way (and there weren't any hints of that). You could probably argue that he's more of a father figure at this point.
The way I initially thought that So-baek was shady, Jang-gang was a normal guy, and that Jin-pyo's mother genuinely didn't know... I was so wrong.
Anyway, I thought this was very good. Fantastic acting, a solid story, important messages, and of course a great meaningful friendship at the heart of it all. There may be some pacing issues, and the full-on triller turn towards the end will probably be divisive (I didn't mind), but those things are certainly not enough to derail the drama I think.
Also, this ended way happier than I thought it would, so I'm certainly not going to complain about that.
Well, that was anti-climactic. Much like in episode 11, everything just felt really convenient, and not really all that satisfying. Like, Yeong-ran didn't even do anything except give some speeches and find a camera? Like, I'm sorry, but when your main protagonist is barely involved in taking down the main villain, there's probably something wrong.
The last half hour where they were just wrapping up everything was fine though, even if it was maybe a bit by the numbers. That being said, that big romantic scene at the end feels a bit tacked on. She barely even confessed, but instead he just kissed her? It's like they did that because they really wanted a kiss scene (that wasn't even good), even if something more open-ended probably would've been more fitting.
I mean... some of you act like she was bodyguard for president and in the FBI... it was never said she was among…
Bringing up valid and constructive criticisms is bullying now? Like, you don't have to agree with the criticism, but constantly dismissing it as "bullying" or "whining about a love triangle" (in the case of AHM) isn't adding anything to the discussion.
this was a great drama and the rating is criminal and unfair, but okay, be a kid whining about love triangle I…
It's good that you loved this and all, but can we stop dismissing all the criticism as just whining about a love triangle? Believe me, I wish I was just whining about a love triangle.
Well, that was a shitshow, right up until the end. Honestly, I kid you not, I almost threw something when we got to the one-year time jump. I can't believe I actually thought for a second we'd get satisfying resolutions, reconciliations, and proper conversations. But nope, we get a time jump instead. That whole ending feels so hollow and unsatisfying, because yet again, the drama skipped over all the important stuff to make it satisfying. What's the point of all the angst if you can't actually write a proper ending to it?
It's like having a romance drama where you never actually see the moment where the couple reunites after the big conflict, because it settles for a time jump instead. Would that feel satisfying? Because that's literally what the drama did here, except it's for the friendship.
But, hey, it's not like this is the first time the drama does this, so why am I even surprised at this point? God, I'm glad this is over.
The last episode felt like a massive panic on writer's side when she remembered this is a female friendship story…
Techically they gave you all the closure... by having all the important stuff take place off-screen, yet again. It feels unsatisfying because instead of properly closing out the storylines, it just took a time jump instead.
Did anyone felt heartbroken seeing Jeong Bun and Ho Suk ignoring Jong Hui when she came to their house making…
That moment pissed me off so much. And I hate how that just never gets resolved or called out. Instead we're just supposed to believe everything's fine now because of the time jump.
Episode 11 felt way too long honestly. Like, the only scenes I thought were great were the Jung-boon/ Ho-sook scene and the Young-rye/ Jong-hee scene in the rain (and that's more on the acting and not the writing). Everything else felt like the drama was just dragging stuff out.
It's funny how the plot is about Miss Korea now, yet the drama can't even properly show us how Young-rye actually won Miss Seoul. Then again, this drama does love skipping over stuff it doesn't know how to explain, so at least we're consistent?
This drama had so much potential, even with the love triangle, yet it somehow managed to squander pretty much everything thanks to lazy writing and poor development. Like, what are we even doing at this point?
