they introduced like 30 shows right now (in both part 1 and 2) so I'm not surprise, they also clarified that not…
considering how long it took them to film and release 23.5 i wouldn't be surprised if this one also takes ages ๐ญ their lineup is oversaturated with bls so they can air a few of them at the same time, but they have only three gls so i feel like they'll try to spread them over time. so 23.5 early 2024, pluto late 2024 and us early 2025 (if we're lucky)
I love this series. I watched it few months ago and I'm already re-watching it. It's such a masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!!…
idk why but to me it feels like Qi Hun (chinese live action adaptation of Hikaru no Go) has similar vibes. very warm, sometimes goofy sometimes heartbreaking, with like found family feels. and it's long - 30+ episodes
"3 will be free" is one of my all-time favourite gmmtv dramas and my favourite of jojo's works so i'm hoping this has similar vibes. i think jojo thrives in queer action/crime genre and also he apparently was inspired by "10 things i hate about you" like are you kidding me? this sounds so good
my only issue so far is that fk feel very much like sandray 2.0 in this but also it's only a pilot trailer (and also if rumours are to be believed they filmed it ages ago, after ofts just finished airing). maybe their final dynamic will be a bit different after all
realistically i think we're going to see it in 2025 i'm afraid ๐ p'fon, who's going to direct this, will also be directing another project from part 2 lineup - scarlet heart - and i feel like gmmtv might prioritize it over this one
oh i hope sun gets mad as hell when she finds out. like it's understandable from ongsa's perspective - back in high school i would also rather die than confess to my crush in fear of rejection (in ongsa's case doubly so because they're friends and she would lose a friend). but also you have to reap what you sow my girlie
If you're talking about this one then this is official artwork for the novel https://mydramalist.com/photos/6YlQO_3
no, the most recent added picture yesterday was an episode 4 fan art that i saw on twitter. it's gone now from here though so i'm going to delete my comment to avoid confusion
Why are people hating on every single GL series.... Y'all had a problem with gap saying it's too toxic and nsfw,…
i'm enjoying this particular gl a lot so far, but the other ones you listed all had valid criticisms for the most part. being like "i'm going to consume this series uncritically and praise it just because it's a gl" isn't that much better than shallow bl fans who are eager to enjoy and hype insanely mediocre and downright bad shows just because their favourite actor couple is acting in them. we shouldn't settle for mediocre, badly acted and written stories just because they happen to be gls. like... let's raise our standards a little bit maybe? we also deserve good stories. i'm a queer woman myself and i want more wlw stories to exist, but if a gl show i'm watching is terrible i'm going to say so, i'm not going to pretend it's a pinnacle of representation and spread hollow, insincere positivity about it
I actually haven't seen that many people complain yet but I honestly thought this was pretty tame in terms of…
yeah, i agree! i think the goofy comedy balance is very good in both of these shows. msp also got quite serious at times in later episodes, and they balanced it with the comedy nicely, without any jarring tonal shifts. too early to tell since there's only one episode of 23.5 out, but i expect it to be more or less the same tonally
