180 degree longitude passes through us is more than just a series. it’s an artwork, a masterpiece. there isn’t a single character that is bad. it’s just like life, every character has their rights and wrongs. there can be some characteristics that you don’t like or you don’t understand but it doesn’t mean that they’re bad.
the mother. can you imagine how hard it must be being a single mother trying to raise your son all alone. her whole world is wang, her one and only son. all she does is for him. yet, her son never seems to acknowledge or appreciate what she does for him. she may seem annoying and loud but she’s also in pain and trying to look strong just for her son.
wang. his perspective on life is completely different from his mother. he longs for his father who was more like wang. it’s not that he does not appreciate her mother’s efforts, they just do not share the same beliefs and ideas about issues. he knows that it was also hard for her but at the same time he feels that he’s lonely because of her. he’s lonely because the person who understands him is dead and the person left behind cannot fill his place.
the whole relationship is so real. it’s from our lives, it’s our story. the love you have for your family doesn’t mean that they don’t hurt you. we hurt each other everyday, we love each other everyday. we simply do not understand each other, yet we want to be understood. we’re doing things for each other that we never ever ask for. we think that we are doing it for each other’s sake. we’re doing it out of love. but it still hurts.
this is so powerful. i find myself here after every episode and i don't even have enough words to describe what i feel. i guess this became my number one drama of all times. maybe number two after the untamed. it feels like a movie that you'll think about even after years.
it feels like a movie rather than a drama with all this cinematography. pond's acting is really amazing. i rewatched the first episode and realized some things that i didn't in the first time. you see new things in each watch it's actually captivating.
Wang knew what he was doing, he already knew him from the photographs. in the beginning of the episode he is looking at photos and they're photos of his father and In. probably there was something going on with them or it's just my opinion. and he said "yes, I lied, but my mother is not completely honest with me either" before finding In's house. when he saw him, he knew who he was, he literally saw him in old photos that morning. also his mother said to In "Wang always asks me about you", so it's obvious that Wang already planned to find In. i really like this drama even it's only the first episode aired. can be one of my favourite dramas
he's my favourite person! not just his acting, not just his songs, i am literally in love with his personality. he is respectful, considerate, humble. his ideas, his way of seeing things, his perspective on life and serious issues... we are indeed blessed by his existence! 易烊千玺,我爱你, 谢谢!
I'm a psychology student and i love the way they handled depression and suicidal thoughts in that show. I will write one of my assignments about this, i think we can even write articles about how well-written this is. Also actings are great. James portrayed his role very successfully. P'Toni is stunning. I love that drama so much
