The fact that they're sharing airing rights with Mango on this means they don't care about it so I gave up on them already lol. This drama has been absurdly low key, but I don't mind it that much. Less focus means less trolling from the yxh accounts if it isn't a hit. Maybe it's my zlh filter, but I somehow have a good feeling about this drama. Even though production quality doesn't look great, I think the script and acting will make up for the rest.

As someone who has been following this drama since the day it first started filming, I am so excited to be able to see this drama so soon! One of the fastest post productions, from wrap up to premiere date I have ever seen of any Cdrama before. Youku has placed major importance on it with heavy marketing all over high traffic domestic city centers, a S++ grading announcement from their conference in early May, and a coveted summer time slot. I'm crossing my fingers that this screenwriter didn't screw with the novel's plots and give us a great drama 🙏

Yeah, the whole region locked thing is annoying at times. Good thing is I don't have a need to watch a lot of dramas, only when there's actors or plots that I like so I rotate them and only pay when there's a drama I want to watch 😄 Like with this drama, I'll buy a subscription when it premieres so the platform will note it as subs increase due to the drama's premiere.
