Coming from a family background , I can understand Daebi Mama’s perspective to some extent. When family pressure keeps building and things still don’t go the way they wanted, people can say really hurtful things in anger. I’ve heard things like that from parents too, and those words can stay with you for a long time, even if they didn’t fully mean them.
But that still doesn’t make those actions okay—I’m not defending or encouraging that behavior at all.
Now that the King said he heard everything, maybe this could become a turning point for her character. She might finally reflect on her actions and try to become a better mother.
I think this is one of those dramas where every actor deserves an award 😭

Yes, I understand that Daebi Mama said extremely hurtful things to her child and did terrible things too… but I can still see the possibility of a redemption arc for her. They’re humans, after all—they should at least be given a chance to change.
