I am a SUCKER for these type of cringy, oldy romance and I honestly loved this series it was genuinely soo entertaining for me. However, one thing to note is that this is your typical girl likes boy and another girl likes the boy series, so it can get very frustrating with the characters like Lan Xin Ya and that other girl, ESPECIALLY THAT OTHER GIRL. So consider that before watching.
Just finished ep 1 and oh it was quite intense, just really didn't like how Tuo non consensually touched and kissed Junxi and yk. but I'll keep watching since it's not *that* bad of a start I mean the acting was good so yeah it's a good start.
first of all ill start this off by saying i love, and i mean LOVE, these types of movies/dramas. Ive watched soo many, most known ones being weak hero class 1 and study group and this drama is not that different from those ones. However, even though it is very similar in terms of genres and what happens, revenge, high school and fighting, right? Every single drama has one thing that is different that either makes it better or worse. This here was the dark theme going on in the background, sucidal brother that ended up, you know, extremely strict father not caring about any of his sons feelings, main lead repeatedly trying to strangle himself after his brother did and everyday at school main lead staring at a plane passing by imagining it exploding right infront of his eyes. This ongoing dark theme really played a big part in this, this was different to all the others, this made it unique in a way. I really liked it. And throughout watching this, it was a very emotional ride, you could say, but thats normal- heart beating, feeling extremely sorry and/or bad for the leads and such.

okay, at first i came across this and watched one or two episode, cant remember, i thought it was very entertaining, right? But as each week went by and another episode was released it started going down hill in my opinion. It was not good. Firstly, why would you bring children into this to do a kiss scene?? that was ridiculous and secondly why would you introduce sa and rape into the story?? there was absolutely no need. Through out this whole drama, there wasnt really any good characters in terms of likeness, except for ploy and lin, not trying to be sexist but there was genuinely no likable character besides them. Also, the high school part was very unnecessary, didnt make sense and wasnt even part of the story.

literally the gl couples relationship was so odd like i dont think there was any real hints for them to end up like that in the office! and the second gay couple was just boring it didnt really add anything to the story in my opinion. (btw its thai and champ, win's thais brother)
i feel like im going to get hated on but does anyone else just really not like the second couple with penny and june? like i love gls right but something about the way their relationship started doesnt do it for me.
