I want to preface this with the fact that I'm cool with the negative reviews and comments that this drama is overrated…
I honestly feel like it's a butthurt response. Some kind of "I don't like this, how dare anyone else like this?!" type of thing. Which is fucking stupid to me. I feel like those people are so close minded to the point that it's just hilarious to me. People have preferences. If majority enjoys it, there's that. But because LR is getting the traction it deserves, the dislike that they have makes them feel justified to start even hating on it even more. One comment should be enough. I don't know why they're trying to lecture everyone else about it.

Different strokes for different folks, but I don't think the score is misleading :)
Who says I'm offended? I'm having a civil conversation, you're the one pushing your agenda on people and judging their decision on what rating to give to a drama that did it's job. Like Minyangi said, different folks, different strokes. It stays a 9.2 whether you like it or not. Have a nice day though. ☺️

To you. A 10 for you is a 0 for another. Calling it misleading when the people that watched rated it themselves is invalidating. Douban rated it an 8.8 even with how critical they are to other dramas. IMDB gave it a 9. Viki a 9.8. Are they all misleading if the scores match up with each other?

It's a romcom. It sold itself as romcom. Why would it not be about romantic, cheesy, fluffy scenes with humor sprinkled all over it? It never tried to be something else other than that.

Korean Twitter collectively agreeing that Lovely Runner was able to get the perfectly drawn S+ tier horse meme from beginning, middle, to end of the show. The power of good writing and good direction with the perfect cast!

where can we find the complete subbed bts clips? i can only find SolSun clips in IG but I like to see the ones…
English translations are littered around Lovely Runner Twitter! It's a very active fandom there so that's where most translations are.

Since, shirtless scenes are currently in discussion-Out of curiousity, how many of you found the shirtless scenes…
What I looked forward was Sol's reaction to him being shirtless than my own reaction. I don't know. I got so used with seeing Sunjae being shirtless on his swimmer days that i got immune to the other 2023 one. 😂 He was trying to seduce her, not me.

Someone actually went back to check the scene and they noticed three staffs behind Solseonhyuk running away in the background. 😭 Geonhee's reaction to the scene was genuine. HAHAHA.

What makes Lovely Runner special to me is Sunjae's loserism throughout the episodes. I love him so much. Him being…
The thing with most of the watchers is that they're more focused on seeing Soljae happy together. Whatever they do makes us happy. It gives us serotonin. They're not attracted to Sunjae because they want him— they want someone like him, is more likely. This is the kind of couple where you want them together, rather than want them as an individual. You understand why they fell in love with each other, so you root for them.

Seunghyub said in the interview that Sunny wasn't supposed to go down in the sea. The wire failed and they just let it happen because the camera was already on. It was supposed to be a CG. 😭 They said everyone in the crew was laughing while watching it happen. LR truly sticking to its roots as a rom-com.

Goodness, so much confusion in each episode.... don't know how many times the time changes... there are lots of…
There are only three time slips as per what they show on the watch. It only activates at 12am the next day which means Sol travels back and forth for three days in 2023, while she spends two to three months in the past. Since time freezes on the future, everything she does in the past rewrites the future.

The taxi driver is just a psychopath. The actor himself said that Sol was just at the wrong place at the wrong time so he got obsessed with her because she's his unfinished business. Since Sunjae keeps saving her and intruding the driver's kill, he's after them for revenge. (He got into jail because Sunjae testified against him.) Much like how Sunjae and Sol are tied together, so is the taxi driver.

Can someone please clear two thingsFirst how FL grandmother knew that FL has time travelledSecondly, in the first…
1.) I think it's implied that Gradma is a celestial deity (or fairy godmother) who used the watch to save both Sol and Sunjae. She gave up her memories (dementia) in order to give a better life for her granddaughter and Sunjae. It's also theorized that Sunjae's love transcends to the point that fate gave them another chance. They were each others red string.

2.) It was never suicide. He might be drinking pills but he was drunk and chloroformed that night by the taxi driver, then pushed off the balcony that it would look like a suicide since he was known to have depression and anxiety problems. He was unable to fight him off due to drunkenness vs Sunjae in episode 8/9 who was sober that night— hence, the driver stabbed him instead.

I kinda felt glad thad Sunjae carried Jae-ah for a bit in episode 15. We get to see the glimpse of them being parents together. But... I just... I want more. They gave us something and now, I need more. They haven't released deleted scenes in a while either. I feel like they're going to put everything on Blu-ray and who knows how much time that will take. 😭
