Now that you said it, there were theories that Taesung was a key player with their change fate with how they emphasize his fate since episode one? What if Sol changing Taesung's fate from being a high school drop out into a detective/police was another factor to change the current timeline?

Theories has been saying that 4.0 Sunjae is just 1.0 Sunjae but without memories. In episode 15, 1.0 Sunjae reawakening will happen and, just like Sol, he'll regain all the memories of all the timelines.

Which is poetic if you ask me because 1.0 Sunjae had the most tragic death. He died not knowing that Im Sol went to the past just to save him and reciprocate the love that he had for her.

Im Sol's main objective in going to the past is to keep Sunjae alive. Also, she's still a fan of a superstar. She just saw him dead one night and suddenly, she's sent back to the past where she has a chance to change his fate. She never intruded into his room with ulterior motives, either. It was after her old self took over her body and the night before, she also received the information that he was still dead prior to coming back.

She's grieving and desperate to change his fate, that is all there is. She was even in shambles when she found out that he liked her and no way did she even try to make use of that attraction. She never even got to talk to him about his confession because she was once again sent back to the future where 34 year old Sunjae is alive and well.

THAT is the moment she actually allowed her walls to break down for him. There was literally no grooming involve because all she felt for him was admiration. She thinks of him as unreachable. And she never abused his niceness to her.

By the time she came back to the past, he's 20 and understood what was going on. And, again, there was no grooming involve because she kept pushing him away but he's the one who kept clinging on her.

Your judgment of her is skewed.

And some people on here kept yapping about how mediocre the drama was and that it's hype isn't gonna last long. You will always be famous, Lovely Runner!

No, forreal. My favorite drama in there could only reach 4. It was bad for me. 😭

The haters can hate all they want and brag about their ratings and how this thing is better than the other but let me remind you!

1. Lovely Runner achieved 400,000 popularity index (Rankify) and had a huge gap with the second rank that only had 100,000.
2. Sudden Shower remains charting and has peaked #5 on Melon. It also achieved single digits rank on all k-music charts.
3. Lovely Runner ratings on Douban is 9.1 the last time we checked. Not even popular c-dramas were able to achieve that high because Douban users are very critical when it comes to their selection of dramas.
4. Like Douban, IMDB rated it a 9.1, as well, with Viki giving it a 9.8.
5. Their Salon Drip preview had trended #1 on Youtube Korea.
6. 5 of their OSTs has entered Melon.
7. Their pop-up store were flocked with people of all ages.

And they achieved this without being put on Netflix or Disney+!

And these are just some of the recent achievements they have! Everyone and their mothers are experiencing a Lovely Runner craze; and if you're the type that couldn't get that, then you must be VEEEEERY unhappy with your life.

I really don't think he'll ever time travel. The watch only glows the second he dies. That happened during the announcement of his death on the OG timeline. On the cliff, it only happened once he's reminiscing his last moments with Sol. Since Sol is now connected to the watch, she's the only person who could do it.

Who's also to say that she didn't used up all her chances in going back to the past for the first reset? Just to make sure that Sunjae stays safe?

Someone pointed out that this present adult Sunjae is not that different from 34-2 Sunjae because he beefed with a person he does not know of and even snapped a picture of his wet underwear to prove that he was right about something. 😭

Since all of Korea are becoming their fan, they wanted to attend the wedding with the venue being the Sky Dome. Some youtube commenters even pretended to be their family and giving the two of them a blessing.

The fact that we also got him asking her for a meal on national television when he once had an interview of him asking a girl out on a meal if he's interested in them. 😭 They're doing this on purpose! The PR stunt is going too well for my heart.

Ep 11 version of Sonagi is really special to me. It was the first time Sol ever got to see Sunjae perform on stage. It's also the first time he got to perform it (and was the last, as well).

I really do like how Sol's warmth transcends through different lifetimes. Now that I've seen it, despite that Taesung's dad never wore the watch, his connection to Sol was still there— lingering to the point that he had the pull to protect her because he was there at the abduction of 2008. He helped Sunjae find Sol and he gave her the information about who Kim Youngsoo is.

As for Sunjae (and Malja, by extension), he was able to experience the memories and get glimpses and dreams of three different lifetimes because he owns the watch. They accumulate to the point that all past Sunjaes try to remind him that "this is who we are and this is what we do for Sol." He got the memory of the first timeline where he watched Sol outside her apartment because that's where he last saw her. He remembers saving her from the OG timeline and the second timeline because that's the pivotal part for that Sunjae— where the guilt begins. Then, at the ferris wheel from the third timeline because that's the place where they promised to see each other again. All his versions are screaming for him to remember that's why he keeps getting these headaches. It's my favorite trope in C-drama xianxias that it makes me happy that I get to see it in my favorite K-drama.

Lovely Runner is perfect for me.

Whoever says this drama is overrated deserves a kim youngsoo in their life.

I really love how most of the cast are so interactive with fans! That's why everyone that watched and is a fan of the show feels they mattered, too. I always look forward to seeing them interact in IG the most— specially when they're trying to act in character! You just know they love the show as much as we all do.

Or you know, instead of coming here to hate on the show you clearly did not watch, keep your opinion and stop acting like you're doing some professional act of human experiment and let people enjoy things? There's a reason the show is getting praises left and right. Just because you think it's juvenile, doesn't mean everyone should, too. If you have this much time to laugh at people, use it to watch the show and rate it FAIRLY like an actual human being WITH a job.
