I was worried about the same thing!! but the next ep trailers don't seem to indicate any problems with that, so even if something happens, it will probably just be minor

the biggest problem with Love You Seven Times is the script. FL is not the best at acting, I agree, but she's still watchable. a better actor (ex. Ding Yu Xi) will be able to make the most of a weak script, but someone with average skills will obviously struggle more 😅

they sometimes get added later on, so I'm still hoping 😤

iQiyi just does this sometimes, they did the same recently with Snowy Night Timeless Love. maybe because the episode count is shorter, so they're trying to extend it out? idk

I feel like I need to give MJTY another watch 🤔 I have seen it, but I have no real impression on the characters or anything because I just didn't vibe well with it at the time

I've seen many people say this director treats women like 'pretty objects' and... yeah.. that sounds about right 😭 at least for now, WX is literally just the "let's give ZYZ a female love interest to distract the censorship board" character

we're already at the mid point in this drama, but WX still feels like a plot device rather than a legitimate love interest 😭

no hate to CDL, she's doing well with what she was given, but the script is doing her so dirty.

depends on your preference, because it has many elements that turn people away. most of the complaints I saw while it was airing were along the lines of "slow, repetitive, sad, little romance". it is slow, it is repetitive, and it is sad. so if that's not your cup of tea, you may not like it.

but the romance is quiet and sweet, the leads are wonderful, the aesthetics are beautiful. as many others have stated, it's a "what if" story. if you try to view it from that perspective, you won't have any frustration with it. you will just be sad 😅
