From the start we saw that it takes him 1-2 business days to process any new information. I don’t know why people are surprised.

He spaced out after he saw the girl he wanted to take on a date got chosen by another guy, and then stupidly asked who’s left, which is on brand for him. If I know that after 7 hours of edited content, the other contestants can know as well. Then he purposefully maintained distance and didn’t show interest because he thought that would be less hurtful than directly saying so. When the girl said she would have preferred the opposite, he realised he fucked up and cried like fountain, processed his thoughts and met her to apologise. I don’t see where « mf » made it worse.

I’m not trying to « turn that » on anyone, I’m just saying Jaeyoon had a rough episode.

Yes, what he did can be hurtful, but he did it with good intentions, which is why I called it a mistake.

My boy Jaeyoon just can’t catch a break. First the girl who likes him and reassured him it’s ok to make mistakes gets mad at him for… making a mistake, and then the girl he likes tells his roommate that he’s her pick and she won’t change her mind. He’s about to come out of that show with PTSD I swear… thank god he has Minhong supporting him.

Yi Do triggers my alarm bells, don’t know why. She doesn’t come across as genuine to me. I hope that the new girl is also into anime (since she spoke Japanese) and Jaeyoon opens up to her because poor dude has been stuck in freeze mode. ㅠ

Oh you can bet your ass they’re scrambling to edit out as much as they can, the timing is just too suspicious for it to be anything else. Maybe it’ll even get the Addicted Heroin treatment. I hope everyone involved can at least save their career, otherwise they caved in for nothing.
