I know the initial start was weird but once you get past that odd initial kiss, the series as actually really…
"Kissing a stranger (girl) without her consent in the middle of the night isn’t just wrong—it’s a crime called sexual assault, which this drama has been promoting from the start.

The FL is a doctor, while the ML is nothing. Considering her career and social standing in a country like Japan, it’s totally unrealistic that she would just accept sexual assault like she’s used to it. This showcases how women in countries that claim to be 'safe' for women have, in reality, been conditioned to accept sexual assault as normal."
please do not sugarcoat crimes like this

"It’s frustrating how the drama treats his 'awakening' as if it erases his attempted murder. He may have a right to see his son, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be punished for his crimes. And what about the lawyer? She was hospitalized because of him—has she just given up on justice? Being friends with the FL shouldn’t mean sacrificing her own life and face. This feels so unfair.
"If the lawyer had died in that accident caused by the ML, then his son would be the child of a murderer. How much worse does he need to be before he loses his rights? Saying 'no matter what he does, he has the right to see his son' doesn’t sit right with me. What if he kidnaps or harms his own child in the future? There has to be a limit."

"Even if he is her son’s father, no child should be near such a toxic man. No one should allow their child to be involved with an attempted murderer. Qin can perfectly replace the father figure. As a mother, she should think about what is best for her son, not just saving face. She should do everything to keep her toxic husband away from her child."

Seon Yul was a straight man, so he didn't have a husband.

I never said cheating isn't a bad thing, but considering the other criminals in the room, his actions were nothing compared to his murderous wife. Seon Yul was the son of a monster, but that doesn't change the fact that he was a victim. He may have been inhuman and insensitive, but he was still a victim—at least according to you, not me.

As for him sleeping with her best friend (who was like a sister to her), when you're at your lowest, you don’t lean on strangers—you turn to family. I know cheating is wrong, but in the context of this drama, it seems almost insignificant compared to everything else happening.

It’s honestly so hypocritical how you refuse to acknowledge Soo Hyun’s husband as a victim. Soo Hyun lost her son? Yes, she was a victim. Seon Yul lost his parents? Yes, he was a victim. But her husband lost his only child, and somehow, he's not a victim? That’s just you being completely biased toward Soo Hyun and Seon Yul.

You justify everything Soo Hyun did by saying it was for his own good, but isn’t that exactly what selfish people say when they don’t want to face something? “I’m leaving you because it’s better for you” – no, you’re leaving because you don’t want to deal with it. Marriage vows are “for better or worse,” but apparently, in tough times, it's suddenly for your own good to walk away?

Soo Hyun can regret killing that evil man, but she can’t find even an ounce of understanding for her husband when he was at his weakest and most vulnerable? If the roles were reversed—if the husband had been the murderer, the wife would be justified in sleeping with his friend because she was grieving. But when the husband does it, it’s cheating and unforgivable? Your double standards are showing. At least acknowledge that poor father as a victim instead of bending everything to make Soo Hyun look good.

If we're talking about victims, there was one more—the husband of Soo Hyun. He was a father who lost his innocent child, and instead of receiving support, his selfish wife sent him divorce papers. Yet, rather than being shown as a grieving father, he was portrayed as some kind of villain.

Even a murderer has a family, but this poor man, who had already lost his child, was abandoned by his wife when she went to prison. Instead of sympathizing with his pain, she was too busy being with the male lead. Did anyone in this drama even care about his suffering? On top of that, they painted him as a cheater. How could he be a cheater when it was she who wanted a divorce?
I know some might disagree, but I can’t change how I feel. I only cared about the innocent child who lost his life. Meanwhile, the leads were more focused on their own emotions rather than the real suffering of those affected.
