Last few years i feel like NETFLIX hijacked KDRAMA and making trash hollywood style drama. Its always about evil…
Its a totally different genre you are talking about also we got many romance dramas this year which were not by netflix and they kinda sucked and found them overrated like “kings the land” somehow only by reading the plot I couldn’t make myself watch it.

it is low budget squid games
They have problem with every genre and i am so tired of comparisons in these kind of dramas. They are not your normal dramas down to compare . We hardly get these type of korean dramas much and then we don’t consider it even. Criticism is ok but comparing it to a drama which had a completely different plot is stupid.

they should stop making series that copies concept of Squid games, it is so typical and cringy.
I don’t find similarities between squid game and this. Its more in suspense and mystery. We knew why the games were happening in squid game and how they can win it. Here we don’t know a thing except people dying mysteriously.

I don’t know why people are finding it overrated so soon. Obviously mdl ratings are usually high when the show is loved globally. You say this would die down? Sure it will, but those who related with the drama and for those who got hope from this drama let them be in peace, In this era we are still craving dramas like 2016 and when we get one such drama like that people call it overrated.
