That's very surprising Patrick would sell it to a chinese company especially since the novel was amazing, hate…
yeah it is disappointing. he is working on a lot of things, including another adapted drama which is now completely done with production, so maybe he wanted to focus on those. i think i'll still give it a try when it's released, at least the first few eps, just to see if it's decent.
that's so cool that you got to talk with the author!! i am sad that it's gonna be censored and turned into a bromance…
same here 💔 i feel like the whole thing will be less impactful and just overall way too different if it's only a bromance, so really curious how they're gonna make it work 😭
just talked with the author and got some info! the drama's production rights were bought by a chinese company, and they've said they want to make a LOT of changes from the novel (mainland china........). they are currently writing the script, and the author himself has gotten no news since then. with their rules, censorship and all, the process of adaptation will take a long time. let's be patient.
not a pro about tv stuff so apologies if the terms i used aren't totally correct! but you get the point :)
What does she "inspired" like she saw him and just wrote ?
i honestly have no idea how she feels about bible lol i've seen some people talking about it but didn't do more research, not really wanting to know atp 🧍♀️
Author is an anti of Bible Wichapas wtf is she having series adaptation of her trashbook
where have you seen that? i know she likes build which is already very off-putting but i wasn't aware of bible. did she mention this on her socials? :/
just submitted the main cast. other than the two leads, none of the actors have a profile on here:
dena caroline as ananya suwan ting sue as yanin chaichana (she has an imdb page) nott as anchara anant tum kornviwat ratanapornphiboon as captain phasuk em adulayarasmi suvarnachakra as kris ratana beem as niran malee
the author said her story was inspired by build and that he was the only actor she wanted for one of the main roles. the production company recently posted a statement saying he won't be a part of it. tbh it threw me off to learn that he was the #1 choice as i highly dislike him... ill probably still support the drama once its released but we'll see!
