found out my local theater was screening the roundup and this movie so i watched it today as soon as it came out! i was so excited. ive been waiting for this sequel forever ah. i don't understand the low rating - there was some cringey parts mostly due to some american or australian dude with awful acting/ english dialogue but the rest was dope. i think the new girl and characters held their own but obviously it wasn't gonna hit like the first. the violence / gore/ action was still fun and satisfying though. they set up for a part 3 in the post credits so i hope this is successful enough that they can actually make it or else i'll be pissed at the cliffhanger. but the final act was excellent and had me cheering. jin goo and lee jongsuk looked damn good too
just finished ep 5 and that final scene was so sexy like who knew park byung eun had that underneath his clothes. he was looking delicious in that bath and when he was on top of seo yeaji goddamnnn daddy and watching sora's bitchass in ruins was hilarious. love seeing her suffer
funny how after ep3 i said they need to pick up the pace and then ep4 did exactly what i was hoping for to move the story along. hope it keeps going. loving jang sun oh and yohan's relationship/dynamic. let's go prison boyfriends! lmao and the reveal that choi dae hoon's character is actually a mastermind too was nice. i knew there was more to him. they're all so sexy i'm here for this team. watching yohan kill that bald piece of shit was so hot and satisfying, wish he got a few more stabs in
trying my best to like this drama for haneul but yohan constantly losing or getting beat up for 3 episodes straight is becoming boring/irritating. need them to really pick up the pace some more and for him to get his sht together cause i'm not a fan of this naive character rn. really enjoying youngseok as jang sunoh though
this film was so raw and emotional and i loved how you come to understand why the couple was acting the way they were the whole time by that sad end. i'm very impressed with these actors it didn't feel like a fictional film it felt like i really was watching a real life couple and this struggle. wow i'm heartbroken by that twist

i love a good revenge story and the first ep was good. seems pretty similar to the american show Revenge which was so good and other dramas too but i'm here for it. ready to see seo yeji take all these b!tches down and sangyeob looks damn fine

I mean it's natural for people to compare an adaptation to the source material especially since jane the virgin didn't come out that long ago but it's so weird how some can be way too harsh and critical because it's not exactly the same lmao. as a lover of the og i have grown fond of woori the virgin and i was never even a fan of im soo hyang. OF COURSE THINGS ARE GONNA BE DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO MAKE OBVIOUS CHANGES TO FIT KDRAMAS AND KOREAN CULTURE AND MAKE IT THEIR OWN!! but it still captures the essence and humor of the original. it's not meant to be taken too seriously, it's an overdramatic cheesy fun concept full of cliches and standard kdrama tropes and over the top plot twists meant to be lighthearted funny and cute. i think it's doing its job really well. it's been so entertaining so far and i love seeing all the ways the kversion puts their own spin on things.
my only issue is with mari and her bitchass mom i skip all their scenes lmao but i'm sure they're doing a great job. also team raphael forever <3 kang jae is sweet and means well i guess but he just seems off to me and kinda annoying so i don't really catch second lead syndrome here

great finale. deserves a better rating on here tbh. i loved the serious dark tone with hints of comic relief it was a good balance and the whole cast together was so great. i had a good time throughout. major props to the child actress!! she was so adorable in racket boys but i was even more impressed with her here
