after watching the original story and the hbo remake, i already know this is going to make my blood boil watching the stupid messed up criminal justice system and the media screw kim soo hyun's character over. especially with that sad scared look in ksh's eyes 😭😭 ugh fck the police. anyway the acting of the two male leads are top notch. i'm excited to see the korean version unfold even tho i already know how the story ends. a solid first 2 eps, glad to have Kim Soo Hyun's fine self back on my screen

anyway the series is still excellent and despite the issues i have with the characters, their behavior is all pretty realistic plus the tension build up is just so damn good.

ppl can say what they want about this drama being "slow" or "boring" but i think the tension is so good between all the characters. and the acting is beyond excellent because every week they have the ability to invoke all these emotions for these characters. at least to me. like one minute ill hate them, then the next i'll be rooting for them or justifying their actions or hoping they get effed over, etc. it's truly a rollercoaster ride and a trainwreck that i can't stop watching lmao also some of their actions are just extremely laughable i love it
