They only showed two male characters pursuing her and the ml had multiple women going head over heels for him. The SML was not there just to be an unwanted romantic interesting. He and his father were directly involved with the taxi driver storyline. He literally changed the fate of the leads and helped them get their happily ever after. The drama did had a sfl and that was Sol's friend and she and her brother were the secondary couple. Why does a drama need one sfl and one SML? So if a drama has one guy after the fl, then one girl needs to be after the ml to balance things out or something? They have made it more than obviously that sunjae is an introvert and due to his swimming career barely attended regular school. There is a scene were he searches for sol in school and some girls sees him and says why they have never seen someone as good looking as him. In college he chose PT, and few girls chose that course and that too in 2009 which explains why there was only one girl who used to hang out with him and his friends. Also sunjae literally said girls and guys cannot be friends. Then he became a celeb and had girls of all ages drooling over him. Sunjae is an introverted guy and Inhyuk is literally the only friend he had. When he barely makes friends with other guys how will he have female friends. He downright rejects any advances made on him by any girl whose name isn't Imsol.
It's clearly shown how the sfl and her brother fell for each other.
It's kind of indicated that they both are meant to be as well. Sol only went back and changed sunjae never seeing her. It didn't change the fate of every single character.

Going by how the old director made sol look like, the recent two definitely put more effort into her and made her look really good. Both the directors in multiple occasions kept complimenting her. Directors usually are very strict and he said he was the strict one and the other dir was the more calm one.

The actor playing taxi driver himself said there is no need to know more about him as he is just a bad guy. It's a rom com and not a thriller to dwell too much into the bg of the taxi driver. Then some are like why is it 16 ep and not 12. The drama clearly concentrate on every minute details of how the leads fall for each other and the main reason everyone started loving them is because of that. They have taken the right amount of time to develop the leads and their relationship in each time line. If this was 12 episodes they will only have time to just show the main points and the depth wouldn't have been there. Some people instead of enjoying what's shown to us wants what they want to be shown and those people are such kill bill.
