Seeing this drama rating go from 7.9 to 8.3 🥹 it deserves more rating honestly. I wouldn't have given this story a chance if it wasn't for Esther, the trailer was lackluster, and it focused more on romance not even showing anything about the suspense and the family troupe. Ik this genre is niche but I'm falling in love with every character in this show after watching, and to think that Esther's fans boycotted this drama because they thought it would not be any good to her career. I always chose to believe Esther's ability to choose scripts, Lin wanxing is a complex character although they haven't shown her story yet, you can see that Esther needed a character like this in her acting career, it's so grounded and emotional and I also love the way she can change her voice with her characters, we have a whole different voice in yunchuling too. Fans care too much about achievements but actors sometimes need to show their versatility to improve even better.

And this is also the last drama her previous company gave to her before their official parting so she had to take it, and so far in this episodes released they didn't show anything about linwanxing's character or her life so I'm curious about that, i hope they showed her backstory well before the players.
Honestly at first fans were boycotting this drama and telling Esther not to take this since this is such a niche genre and it won't do anything good to her career, but after watching this episodes I'm glad she took it, this drama is more than just romance and I love the backstory of the players, it's so healing and funny. Esther definitely needed a character like this, I'm so excited for yunchuling too. 2 episodes a day isn't enough and the trailer didn't do any justice to the drama lol.
