It’s easy to see the strength of TeeTee’s acting because his character is a big mess and very energetic, but I also have to praise Por’s performance. It’s extremely hard to portray a constrained person with troubled and mixed emotions. Por did it perfectly. Qin seems cold on the outside, but inside he’s just as confused and chaotic as Duang, if not even more so. His monologue when they’re both sitting on the sofa really reveals his disorganized inner world, and I love it so much.
I think this is one of the worst episodes, I had to rewatch it immediately after the credits to confirm my evaluation. And maybe I need to rewatch it tomorrow too.
I really really like this show! Duang's overdramatic self is honestly so fun to watch lmao. That being said, I…
It’s hard to frame it as a façade in any way. People like Duang are everywhere (though most of them are not as overdramatic as he is), it’s just one of the many sides of being human.
The show’s title includes the name “Duang,” and I think it’s fair to say that if you don’t like his personality, you probably won’t enjoy the series. Personally, I think Duang’s golden retriever energy is what makes the show shine. If he didn’t do his silly, over-the-top antics, it would feel like any other BL series. They even addressed his behavior in Episode 2, his friends pointed out that there’s a fine line between his actions and being a stalker. And at the end of Episode 4, you can see that he’s capable of feeling genuine sadness.
I’d say whoever cast Tee and Por as the leads of this series really hit the jackpot. We’re seeing a new BL ship with a lot of potential for the future.
I want to see them together already ngl this is getting draggy, If qin finally shows affection to duang its gonna…
In the BL world, relationships usually blossom at episode 5 and at episode 6 the main leads will finally become something of a couple. Episode 11 is often where a big conflict rises.
This is the first time I eagerly wait for a Friday series which is not from GMM. This show is silly but it's extremely entertaining. Both actors suit their roles perfectly.
It's hard to choose which one is the best: this or SeaKeen? I love them both. SurfJava is the new wind that GMM needs. I hope they will have their own series.
He’s better as a model than as an actor. He just can’t pull off serious roles. It’s quite tragic, though, he wants to be a mature, major actor, so he left the BL industry, but his talent is really only suited to BL, where acting isn’t everything.
