This drama is so beautiful it needs to blow up like holy shit I didn’t know what to expect going in but I binged it I’m one day and now I’m like emotionally full and exhausted at once and no t able to coherently communicate anything other than this is a beautiful drama. Watch it please. Prepare to cry from sadness and happiness and both at once, I mean in the best way.

Also I’d say more of a platonic friendship is Lizi and Charlie because they have a really special but non romantic bond which is really refreshing and their interactions are so interesting

I would say that there is but it’s more like with all the people he works with. So there are a lot of fun interactions there is not a specific bromance pairing. But towards the end you’ll see that some characters are there through a lot and they build really close bonds together

I love the sets, costumes, and have a lot of respect for Peking opera and the performers, but personally the music really just isn’t it for me
