Good analysis, I think people maybe getting the Da-On, Tae together from the next ep preview because in it Shinwoo can be heard telling Da-On that Tae is constantly thinking of him, and Tae asks Shinwoo to stay as the support he has been so far.
My opinion is Tae is now so scarred by the hurt he's experiencing that he doesn't want to rush into another mess, and lose this one truecfriend whom he knows has made a conscious effort to open their heart to himself. Plus we don't know if that request to Shinwoo comes before any real resolution of the situation between Tae and Da-On has occurred.
Tae may still have a hope Da-On will accept his feelings, even though he probably knows it won't happen he isn't psychologically equipped to know how to move forward, because he has spent so much time in self isolation.
I think the end game will be Tae x Shinwoo but we may not see it happen until ep 15 or 16.

Kudos Shinwoo your feelings are taking shape and your actions spoke volumes
Well done Namgoog your tireless efforts to hell Da-On, Shinwoo and Tae understand each other and come to terms with the situatio they're facing will not go unnoticed.
Just wish Namgoong would steer clear of Lee so, that chick doesn't deserve his grace and friendship.

Continue to be disappointed by Da-On, he doesn't need to speak out in front of everyone, BUT he should at least give Tae something be it an apology or a request for time to sort things or a flat out rejection and asking forgiveness if his actions were misleading.
Da-On using Shinwoo's feelings toward Tae is also being unfair telling someone Take Care of this for me means one of two things, first you don't want the responsibility of caring for it and can avoid b.ame if things go pear shaled, so you'll let someone else handle it or its precious to yourself and you intend to retrieve it at a later date, if either of these are Da-On 's toughts, I'm afraid he will be surprised at how foolish such thkughts are as we can't control others feelings and emotions with logical denial.

Kudos to Tae for rejecting the guilt offering, in your shoes I'd have been much nastier .

Thanks for the correction I had forgotten that scene between Da-On and his classmates in front of the lockers,

So I just took another look at ep 12 highlights and I now believe the person at the centre of Shinwoo's middle scool story arc is Da-On,

in the highlight Shinwoo is talking to Tae about somone he himself shouldn't have said anything to, and how that person was now closed off and how it would take a lot to open them up again,. If I'm right this makes clearer for me at least the closeness of Da-On znd Shinwoo.
Also this would have given Da-On ample time to know himself, ifhe couldn't accept Shinwoo 3 years earlier he sure as hell, should have known his actions toward Tae were likely to lead to where fhey did,

it would also explain why the school is leery of Da-On's parents, their boy had already been through one mess they couldn't have him in another.

Many of you are observing Tae's bracelet and wondering if it is the one Shinwoo allegedly gave his middle school friend, I don't belive that event took place, certainly something happened that caused Shinwoo to be bullied and change schools, but I don't believe it was a bracelet exchange, and even if it was the one Tae is wearing doesn't appto be a school one and the rmour said it was a school thing.

If that middle school story /rumour is true then why does Shinwoo say at the start of ep 10 that the first time he saw Tae was the first time he ever liked some body?

A nd one more thing whilst I'm talking Shinwoo at start of ep 10, many myself included came down him for his treatment of Tae in the early episodes but we all missed Shinwoo saying he did that as away to get Tae to notice him

So Shinwoo kudos to you for holding your course and learning how to soften your approach, there's a phrase where I'm from that sort of matches the new developments between Shinwoo and Tae and goes softly softly catch mousey, and I think as lo g as Shinwoo treats Tae with tenderness he will ultimately be by his side.

Hmm not so sure, I'm struggling to get a read on him, he is kind of giving a vibe of playing 2 ends againstt the middle I mean he seems to care for the other 3 boys but....at the same time wants to talk all friendly with their mutual nemesis, even letting her know he is aware she is behind this and reminding her of consequences, to me that doesn't sit well, what benefit is their in still treating her nicely?
I know some are suggesting he has a crush on her but, I can't agree I feel that the crush is one of the others, but he seems happy to keep quiet whilst that other person is happy

Hope so, there is potential with the storyline, to give it a together the series or tharn type feel, from a Korean perspective. Even a spcial mini showing them post high school with sbucessful lives and relationsips that are healthy and happy.

Oh so some one has the courage to voice that thought very early on I had a similar thought but there is something about that beach scene and the way Tae smiles and looks so fondly toward them, that makes me think whom ever the one is is still with him and hes about to hold them.

Moving on it came out as we expected, Da-On did indeed throw Tae under the bus and thought only of himself and the family status, even to the point of sending that last line, declaring to his peers he isn't like that . Whatever guilt or regret he feels from here out, he deserves, because at the end kf the day it was his choice to go with self pressrvation,

As to the teachers and Nam carrying on about an adverse reaction, if they learn of it, yeah sure you'll get the what were you thinking scraming match, with maybe a slap or two, but at the end of the day they'll be anxious to preserve their reputation so will more likely force Tae to be expelled from the council and the school as a way to save face.

Kudos to Shinwoo, though the steps he took were tentative they were significant, and with what is previewed to come his heart is definitely in the right pla e, and as the situation settles in the days ahead and Tae has time to process everything he himself is going to choose the one who has been beside him and tell Da-On a definite rejection if he comes asking to start over, because both Tae and Shinwoo are the kind of people onc3 bitten twice shy.

Yep it ertainly comes across that way, I hope over these last episodes Shinwoo can find it in himself to confide everything in his heart

There is another trope at play here, in western cultures it is common to hear a phrase like you bully the ones you love or treat em mean keep em keen, personally I hate these scenarios as they are more of an emtional/psychological torment and very damaging for the recipient, but as somone who themselves is an introvert my suspicion is shinwoo is trying to keep his guard up to get Tae's measure before getting close, if Shinwoo were a manga character he'd be labelled tsundere meaning cold at first warm, affectionate and loving once relationship is established

Love the last part of your comment, I've been thinking on the teacher for a few episodes, a d find myself wondering is he gay or very empathetic to oys falling for one anoher in college, also why did he reach out to Tae and place him in Sc, did he suspect or know that Tae would find love and frindship there

Alright so Da-On was caught off guard and reacted in the haet of the moment but to me covering your embarrassment at the cost of another isn't cool.

reputation and status aren't enough reason to hurt someone, especially when Da-On is aware that this is Tae's first attempt at making friends and fitting in.

I'm not saying Da-On should come out especially if he isn't ready to accept Tae, but I feel he should of put it across as himself giving Tae some encouragement, or come up with a way to laugh it off or better still made some kind of "I'm not going to talk about this" and let people simply gossip,

Nice reply I wonder who will have the guts to reveal the sender as seho, as I said to scarleT earlier my only hope as far as the storyline goes where she is concerned is that they give the option of an excusing apology, followed with an all is forgiven nothing changes, because that to me is the equivalent of saying its ok to sabotage others so long as you're sorry about it. To me the only time I relation ship should be interfed with is if it is breaking the law or if it involves domestic violence.

Hopefully we'll see the wrters handle this with responsibility and tact, also hope we don't see a situation like played out between Book and Framr in make it right when Frame's sex tape was revealed, Farme, atempted suicinde, because both Da-On and Tae could be hurt deeply enough to seek that option, with their current personality traits.

Quick question if you were Tae, Shin woo or even Namgoong who is Mr amiable how do you remain close friends ? I mean it appears from the preview that Da-On goes into self protection mode, causing the wound to Tae to go deeper. I amm confident Da-On will gset a guilty conscince and express regret and apologise which I know too will be accepted because the others have good hearts, but to me forgiving and staying friends are different things.
