movie is slightly off track from the manga. anime follows the manga for season 1, then goes off track. best is to read the manga , its complete as far as i know, i havent read it fully, only until the 2019 updates. its on batoto

it softly based on the manga/anime. anime kei has empathy issues, which he got from his mother. he grew up extremely self centered minded, but he actually cares. you could say he has a form of alexithymia, but when in action he shows emotions.
also, in the anime/manga, he saves the researchers because the researchers show him the route out of the facility, it was more of a give and take situation. and izumi is continuously threatened by yuu tosaki , that shed suffer a similar fate to the experimented ajin and also tosaki helped her get a new identity. so its mostly out of respect
dunno for sure, i havent watched all of these. i collected from forum posts or reddit or other MDL posts, with unrequited love setting from FL's side. that is also how i added pinnochio and interest of love. but chances are Love all play is of this genre and trope

yeah!! trope brought focus on friendship and will remove that irritating trope where any female lead near the male lead with a lot of airtime has has to ml's love interest

i think you won my heart in "hilarious family". for the longest time i have been looking for a drama where FL and ML are not romantic partners to each other yet they do have romantic interests in the supporting characters. i have always craved this trope but have always been unable to find it.
i watched "fairy tail" when i was young, and there are 5-6 main characters. out of the 5 mcs, two are romantically paired but the rest have non main character love interests. and i loved this dynamic. especially for erza and jellal

oh no, i love cute and adorable women. i love when women do "aegyo" its very adorable and cute. cute , adorable and petite women are literally the type of women im into. but the entire of fl's character is like a lolita toddler. which feels disturbing to me. no one around me, who is of adult age pretends to acts like a preteen. and if they do, it would be extremely odd to the eye. if FL did the cute acts every once in a while, that would have been so much adorable! and perfect! but the child-like, lolita-like act is her constant and she has no concept of decision and maturity. I have a family member with intellectual disability , shes a good human at heart, but her tendencies and mental age has never passes that of a 6-7 year/old. and i find similarities between her and FL. that is what irks me the most. if i were to see a human that acts like FL does 24/7, it would be highly concerning
