One of the best movies I have ever seen. Just saw it for the first time in a 4k restored version at my local cinema. Such a great film, it's 3 hours long, but never boring, and basically a simple story about the life of a family, loneliness, love, death and many more themes. I will never forget Edward Yang's masterpiece for sure and hope to rewatch it again soon, maybe on Blu-ray. 10/10.
is this 18+ cause suzuki was dancing paso doble shirtless? 🤣cause that hot hot body was def doing violence…
Netflix shows it to me as age 12 and up here in Germany and this is what I would rate it too. 18+ is completely ridiculous. It has nothing to justify this rating.
People giving bad reviews and is a good show, yes is not a professional tv series with budget and all that stuff…
I agree. Not great. Not super bad. MDL ratings are not to be taken seriously in most cases. People are unable to rate with common sense. All those 1s and 10s all the time here. This one is not great, I agree, but not so bad either.
Final verdict: Not nearly as bad as the MDL community talks it to be - as usual. Read a lot of comments here before starting it and just finished the last episode which was cute. Yes, it was not a very professionally done show and there was almost no story. But it was a nice watch nevertheless, especially Kim was nice to look at. Not great, but a quick and short nice watch. 6/10.
GMMTV doesn't do any justice here😡I kinda understand it's basically netflix series, but JoongDunk are gmmtv…
What do you imply with your statement? That this show isn't promoted enough? I mean being on Netflix is like a big promotion on its own. It's visible basically to the whole Netflix world at once, not only some specific Thai Youtube channel or Asian streaming service. It's shown to people that never saw anything like that before. Being on Netflix is the biggest promotion ever for a GMM show, in my opinion.
Episode 2 and I love it so far. Pretty cool show. Although I think the age of all the main actors and the roles they play don't necessarily fit together, like inspector or professor and 24/25years old... but whatever. Can't wait for the next episode.
Fr i thought I was the only one who thought that, I literally don't understand the point of making this movie…
It's a drama, or an allegory, about motherhood, emotional bond, all with the goal of human survival, tested in space by an AI system. The whole flood theme is constructed as a test scenario. I mean, I got this story in the end, but it just wasn't very well executed to make it a great sci-fi movie. Especially because when I started it, I thought it's more of a disaster themed experience. Never mind, it's mostly well made, but just not what I was expecting and not really good.
I knew it has Sci-Fi elements but still thought it's a disaster movie. It was not. Interesting storyline, but overall it was not a very good movie. Something was missing for me in the end. The second half also was kind of repetitive (literally) - while this was interesting, it became a bit boring. Not a rewatch. 6/10.
I just watch it on Netflix in Germany. You need to switch your Netflix language to English - then many new things appear that only have English subtitles but no German ones.
Not a bad as the rating suggests after finishing the first three episodes. Let's see where it goes. It's quite amateurish and cheaply made but the episodes are also so short, it's an easy watch. Like the sexual tension.
just watched it in the cinema in Chiang Mai. it‘s a nice horror thriller - it’s worth watching. and it’s great to see Mos in a more challenging role. he was leading the whole movie. only the finale / ending was a bit too much imo. Bank has a small cameo role (watch out for the doctor) 7/10
Just watched it in the cinema in Bangkok. actually I liked it a lot more than part 2! Apart from some unbelievable scenes (like getting a knife deep in the stomach then fighting like nothing happened) it was really a fun ride. And I already wait for Tee Yod 4 now 😂
Final verdict: It was a nice watch, but clearly the weakest season. The games were nice to watch, but the suspense from earlier seasons wasn't there (for me). And it lacked a real plot, it was more like every episode another game. Except the last episode. I don't see why some people see an American version upcoming, The last 2 minutes do not imply any of that in my opinion. I think AiB is over now, but I wouldn't say no if another season is coming.
I just finished episode 5 of 6 and I am bit disappointed. It's a nice watch, but basically they only run from one game to the next in each episode. There is nothing more happening, no real plot like in season 1 or 2. Something is definitely missing here, and my emotional connection with the characters is also not there because of that. Let's see what the final episode brings up.
I liked watching this series, but it wasn't the best J-BL. The overall shyness and politeness was a bit too much. Those are two adult men who aren't able to really talk to each other like real people in many scenes, even when they are alone at home. But the most annoying thing are those "kisses" if we call them like that. Please, if you don't want to kiss the same gender, then don't play in a BL. Other than that it had a nice story but it was a bit predictable. Didn't really feel the spark between those two but it was a nice watch.
