I can't believe FL shed a tear for Yuchi the villain during her marriage ceremony.

I was waiting for his doom. He physically assaulted the FL many a times and he deserves that accidental death. Wish it was more painful than that. He had such an easy and quick death.

Though this drama is very engaging, the tag should say "Slight Romance". With only 10 more episodes, hardly there is any room for revenge let alone romance.

Give some credit to the women who is married with a kid and still has passion for acting. We can't just have all 17+ year old FL in all dramas.

Very rare to see your favorite FL and ML together in a drama and this is one of it. I love the FL acting. She is very natural.

What's with the maids costume? Torn on both shoulders.

Already way too many people died. If it's a sad ending, the director must be a sadist to get pleasure in killing too may people.

Unfortunately she dies at the end of episode 18. Way too sad.

The synopsis gave the idea that the leads gets married early on in the episodes. But it's happening after 2/3 of the episodes.

FL was not born right after marriage. If so then it would make sense YuWen to be the father of FL. When XiWen's maid explained the backstory to FL, she mentioned that FL parents had few years of harmonious life together before her birth. XiWen and YuWen couldn't have had illicit affair, they are too righteous.

Oh all the wild theories we all had and every time we were proved different. So many twists and turns. Never a dull moment.

What? 1 episode per day. Not fair for us.

That's one thing I don't get in Cdrama's. I am all for forgiveness and harmony, but forgiving people who tried to kill you with smallpox. I am not that magnanimous . lol.

My theory is that Xi Wen found out about her husband's involvement in her family's doom while she was pregnant with FL. Possibly Shi Yang father knew about it and he killed his own father as well on the day FL was born. Shi Yang might have caused Xi Wen's disability by tainting the medicine during childbirth. He was obsessed with her and probably she was planning on leaving him with the baby. Her plans might have been thwarted with her father-in-laws death and branding her child as ill-omened.

She was biding her time, looking for evidence. When she stumbled upon the passageway she might have started further digging and used it to her advantage. Also in those days, it wasn't easy to accuse your own husband directly and this was a big case with huge money involved, it was easy to accuse in the name of torture.

But only if she opens more to her daughter, things could have turned out differently(But what will we do for amusement?. lol. )

I wonder if he is part of the royal family. Probably abandoned in his childhood like the FL.
