We haven't got to the extended episodes yet. the show was originally 120 eps then it was dropped to 116 or 17 then back up, so the scripts were already in place for 120 eps, the extension starts at 121.

They would have had to make a few tweaks though for the extension to seem at least plausible story line wise.
