Zhe Xu and Mi Jin are incredible actors and their love for their characters comes through, their connection and chemistry is so palpable, I just adore them.

Just catching up with the comments and I am glad to see new people talking about this series.
I don't have much to add except that this series invites so much emotional upheaval and introspection, not just of the characters but our own beliefs.
We love Zi Ang but if we step away from the emotions, he is a true villain whose actions are unforgivable. In the name of love, would you forgive?? someone who killed your beloved brother(even if evil) decimated your country, kidnapped, imprisoned you and basically took away all your agency.
Shu He ultimately was able to offer redemption and forgiveness without loosing sight of all the wrongs that Zi Ang has done to him. Zi Ang was a master speaker, he tells Shu He his tears are worst than any blade but he was the one causing those tears. Despite everything Shu He finds a way to choose love and a way to be together forever!
I love Zi Ang and understand him,( after all I have a touch of madness, I can't let go of this series🤣) he was raised as a weapon and brainwashed from an early age but I adore Shu He for never buying into the manipulation and gaslighting from Zi Ang.
I meant to write one line but it's impossible!

They can pulled off any role but I would love an ancient drama, there is just something about the costumes and atmosphere that I think they are so suited for. But, I want it all so a modern drama where Zhe Xu plays a gothic killer vampire hired to hunt Mi Jin with lots of angst....

Well said MarazulOx!!! MiJin and ZheXhu's acting is what made this series so iconic and special. Their acting separates them from all the other bl series that are very popular but I personally can't compare. I know liking a series is subjective but objectively speaking the script and acting in Kill to Love is simply superior and amazing!

Everyone has very good points that I would have loved to have seen explored. I would have loved to see the devastation of South Hui, I think it would have added more depths to Shu He's pain of loosing his country and his people and to see his struggle and decision making to not forgive ZA.
Explore Hai Yi storyline and his hatred for Shu He, also to be found out about killing the prisoners of war.
I was not invested in the relationship between Shu Qian and Hua Ying and I wished they had used that time to explore other issues mentioned before. The complexity of the characters is what made this series my number one and would have been glorious with more episodes.

Personally, I think that he was ambitious and wanted to have it all.
His brother, his kingdom and Shu He. knowing his training, this seems an strategic move instead of an innocent omission.
I really think he underestimated SH's character and thought he could just explain himself away afterwards, which is what he did until their end.

I agree the translations are not the best but sometimes I can't watch certain shows through Gaga, for Kill to love I would watch even with bad translations...the struggle is real for obsessed fans!

The more I stay with these characters the more I understand Shu He's anguish and deep love for his brother ( he knew how evil he was but loved and hoped for reconciliation) even after he saw him in the afterlife, he tells him he waited a lifetime to hear his brother's words. Imagine the power of their connection that the only other person besides his soulmate Zi Ang, it was his brother he wanted to reunite with. We all agreed he was a psychopathic killer but family relationships are complicated.

I really don't have much to add Y, your attention to detail is beautiful! only is one of my favorite scenes among many. It touches me profoundly! I have memorized their dialogue for this whole episode and looked at the different translations. the scene is like a beautiful work of art and the background music adds to the whole ambiance.

You are a wealth of knowledge Y, thank you! It has enriched my experience of the series. I often wonder how different it would have been if the women were included? I am glad the production team made SH and ZA exclusive and there is no doubt of their loyalty to each other. I would have liked a jealous ZA, just a hint of another male interested in SH, just to make ZA suffer a bit.

It took me a lot longer! ZA hurt SH in every possible way. I love SH's character because he never bought into the sweet words ZA said to him but looked at this actions instead. I adore ZA but objectively speaking he is a super villain!
ZA is beyond red flags, there was no redeeming his actions in this life, which, is why I think the end is so perfect!

but my most favorite is in ep 6, it changed the dynamics not only for DA and SH but for myself as a viewer.

All of the kisses were amazing, intimate, and I really felt their love for each other.

I totally agree! It's a matter of time as they get more recognition that their future roles will be in heterosexual dramas. I will continue to support them in whatever role they are in. I love their interactions and hope they remain friends always!

I hope is just a rumor, I can't imagine the agency releasing anything that could harm them. I hope is not the people that left or other behind the scene staff. They need to be protected!!!

I don't know about that series, will check it out, since I like pain and suffering!
