Halfway through the drama and maybe this is an unpopular opinion but...I don't think Zang Hai's motivation for revenge is strong. Sure his family got massacred, but also because his dad stole the ultimate treasure of another country? Feel like if we saw it from anyone else's POV, it doesn't feel undeserved even if everyone had selfish motives. Am I missing something?
Also after all the shit that went down in the Marquis life, he doesn't at all immediately think it's Zang Hai's fault? Since ZH entered his home, it's disaster after disaster. Just seems a bit unbelievable that ZH is still alive by ep 26

This drama has been so so good for a short drama! The plot is logical and we get pay offs where we would never get in a long drama. And the make up scene was 10000000% satisfying
Ngl I think Tang Yan’s face matches LXY out of all his FLs in recent dramas. Face cards that will never decline. Also didn’t realize she was 9 years older than him in real life, can’t even notice the difference!

I was so confused after I finished the drama since there seemed to be so many open ended things that haven't ended. But it seems that we'll get a Season 2? Can someone confirm? I felt like our leads didn't even get to confess their love, the bad guys haven't been brought to justice, and so much more???

I don’t know what it is about Wang Duo but I’m so naturally attracted to him. He has this aura that’s so 邪美. I first noticed him in Bloody Romance and am so glad he’s made it back to dramas after 5 years!
